I have been engaged for 2 months now. Everything is great, we have moved in & glad that we are starting our lives together. But my fiance wants to have a baby before our wedding date. We set our wedding date for June 2009. I agreed to have a baby before our wedding but now I am having 2nd thoughts. Not sure if this is the best idea. I am hesitant because I am sure that after we have a baby we will not have a nice wedding & a honeymoon. Am I being selfish?

Here they are, say your opinion:

Auburn
Alma
Emerald
Ember
Crystal

I know some of them are weird and don't ask me why I'm asking you about weird names, but please tell me which ones you do/don't like.

We have been together for ten years, and I have been living as a housewife. We have two kids together. Would I be entitled to some of the assets that have been accumulated during the relationship?

The only problem is that we have a 2yr old son and no family support. Will the army separate us if we have to go to Iraq? My hubby is now serving and upon his return, we request to be together active full time. I just want to know if anyone has been in this situation with a child with no family support around? What is the real situation gonna be like? Will we really be together? For now I'm an army wife which sucks because I love to work and be around my hubby. Help!! Thanks!!

Four Catholic ladies are having coffee together, discussing how important their children are.

The first one tells her friends, "My son is a priest. When he walks into a room, everyone calls him "Father."

The second Catholic woman chirps, "Well, my son is a bishop. Whenever he walks into a room, people say, 'Your Grace.'"

The third Catholic woman says smugly, "Well, not to put you down, but my son is a cardinal. Whenever he walks into a room, people say 'Your Eminence.'"

The fourth Catholic woman sips her coffee in silence.

The first three women give her this subtle "Well...?"

She replies, "My son is a gorgeous, 6'2," hard bodied, well hung, a male stripper. Whenever he walks into a room, women say, "My God."

If a planet, or something putting of light was suddenly flung from its pont of origin and was moving faster than the speed of light, and for instance your were at the point of origin, and you were looking at the planet hurlling away from you, would the light still reach your eyes because it was at 1 time where you are? I know thats kinda confusing but thats the reason Im asking it.

My son wanted a pirrahna, he's had it for a couple years now. It does nothing but sit there and eat goldfish every once in a while. I hate to feed it feeder fish as well, what is a humane way to get rid of it? I tried the pet stores they won't take it either.

My friend is color blind. He says he still can see color but he mixes colors up.
(I forget the correct term that the docter said it was.)
But I was talking to him about what I want to do in the future. (We are only 14.)
And I said I wanted to go in the USAF.
Well he said so dose he.
But I was thinking if he is color blind they probley wont let him do the jobs he wants to do.
He said he wanted to be on a special forces team or fly a plane.
But I am thinking they will most likely not let him do that.

So I was wondering.
Can color blind people even go into the USAF.
And if so what kind of jobs can they do?
Will they just sit at a desk all day doing paperwork?

I am going to be throwing my sister-in-laws baby shower and I've found a really cute idea online. The thing is, I don't know how to say it on the invite while still being proper.

The idea: "Time of Day" Each guest will be assigned a 'time of day" on their invitiation, for instance "meal time", "bath time", "play time", "nap time". The guests gift for the baby shower would correspond to the time of day they received.

The problem: How do I properly say this on an invitation, because you can't assume/expect that someone will even bring a get.

Any ideas?

I have an aspiration: I love to write novels. Any story idea that would pop in my head, I would write it down immediately. then I would store it for later. I need a PDA to allow me to write a novel on the go and store it in a memory card with the highest storage capacity. High resolution camera and e-mail are definite pluses. The problem is I don't know what current models of PDAs would have all the requirement stated before and which one is the best in the market. I would need all the specifications on that PDA so that I would buy or order it immediately. Does anyone know what exactly I'm talking about ? Please, I'm literally on my knees.

Just curious - there are so many people here from all over that I sometimes wonder what it would sound like if we all got together. So what is your accent? Is there someone we all know you can compare yourself to to give us an idea?

I don't mean "Who do you sound like?" - someone with an accent very similar to mine would perhaps be Helen Mirren - but obviously I don't sound like her.

I'm from near the estuary from which (in the UK) we get the term "Estuary English". Do you have any local names by which we might get a flavour of what you'd sound like?

(This is a consquence of being faceblind - I get very hung up on the sound of people's voices...)

I know those who promote it are trying to make a point but I think it is a bad stratedgy to argue a point you don't really believe in to try and dismantle an argument which people do believe in. That being said I think those who promote this might be embarassed at how easily it could be disproven. Your thoughts?
