Co worker bought a 2001 VW Jetta GLX for his son last week at Washington DC for $7700 (The car has DC plate and title and He paid with a cashier’s check). When he went to the Virginia DMV(where he lives) to register this car the DMV told him this car was a salvaged car(car was in a serious car accident 3 years ago and it was rebuilt), therefore they cannot register this car until the VA DMV inspect the car and pass the test, if not he needs to make necessary repairs until it passes). They asked the seller if the car was involved in accidents before and seller only said someone rear ended him couple weeks ago and got a new bumper, the seller failed to disclose about the salvage issue. My question is what can he do now? Seller refuse to take car back, can my co worker sue? If so at DC court or VA court? Please help.

first off i'm going to say I AM NOT STUCK UPAT ALL!! i have morals, and sometimes ... i can say alittle to much if people do something i don't like, and usually I end up feeling VERY bad about it, being in high school drama is going to happen.. every girl thats reading this knows what i'm talking about!! okay so i have go into it with a few people ( not alot) but see i can't get over it? I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID, but i just don't know how.. my dad has alot of money, and people hate me for it!! i don't even live with my dad, it got so bad ya'll i finally gave up and dropped out, my ex boyfriend father was gunning for me to get hurt in that relaionship because he hates my father.. my dad is very mean, but don't they realize he is mean to his own kids too?? its all about money to HIM, not me...!! i have done very stupid things because i have been so hurt, how do i move on .. WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ME, AND THINK.. its not me, I AM NOT MY FATHER,OR MOM.. 'i'm jst me should i move away?

Do you know where I can get a part for a Sherman Tank. The valve lever for one of the pistons broke in two, and the closest place is two hours away and its a pain in the butt to move it by flat bed. Any help on where I can get the part? I can put it on myself. Thank you

Anytime my fiancee (her father) and I hug or snuggle or kiss or hold hands...any sort of affection between us...she gets jealous and upset. She will come over and try to get in between us or try to move his hand off of me. She always says "that's my mommy" when she does it as well. She will even start to whine and cry if she can't stop him from touching me. And to make matters worse, she has a baby sister on the way, due in Nov. so if she acts like this now am I to assume it will get worse when all my attention has to go to the new baby? Has anyone else encountered this behavior from their toddler?

..has suddenly started flaring and nipping my Platys... I have a community tank and the Betta has been happily living there for 2 months now, with no agression to the other fish at all. I watch my tank all the time (that's what it's there for, after all...!)

He is totally ignoring the other fish & is just flaring at 3 of the Platys, the 3 silver ones (I also have 1 orange wagtail)...

I've been watching for the last hour and he seems to be guarding one corner of the tank - when the platys come close, he flares and rushes towards them... and a few times has nipped a platy.
The platys keep going back though, instead of staying away from him..

Can anyone tell me what's going on??

Last month, my neighbors wanted less than $250.00 to replace a small portion of an ajoining fence. I agreed and even oferred the man cash which he refused until after the work was done.

We were initially allowed to help install the posts but he chose to put the pickets up while we were away so he could install the smooth side of the fence towards his yard (the way his wife wanted it to look).

Anyhow, we received the $505.00 bill six days ago. I don't understand the disparity between the quote and the actual bill and am trying to look into it. This morning his wife confronts my teen daughter demanding payment and now I get the feeling like something isn't quite right.

What would you do? Would you pay it without question so they would leave your child alone? Would you ask for receipts in order to verify the cost? Would you pay the original agreed cost until you could verify the actual cost?

Any advice would be helpful.

im not very religious but i do believe i guess a little...im slightly skeptical like my grandpa says " believe none of what you hear and half of what you see" but anyways with the saying that everything happens for a reason even if we dont understand it. why do ppl suffer especially children can you explain why children are abused and sexually abused --all the taboo things that happen in the world like hunger, aids, rape, incest, and everything. where is our god when he is needed the most. how do you make sense of all this. I dont understand how a child is put here to suffer and nothing else. anyone insight into this.?????
