im not very religious but i do believe i guess a little...im slightly skeptical like my grandpa says " believe none of what you hear and half of what you see" but anyways with the saying that everything happens for a reason even if we dont understand it. why do ppl suffer especially children can you explain why children are abused and sexually abused --all the taboo things that happen in the world like hunger, aids, rape, incest, and everything. where is our god when he is needed the most. how do you make sense of all this. I dont understand how a child is put here to suffer and nothing else. anyone insight into this.?????

No child is put here to suffer and nothing else, but to blame God for all the suffering in the world is to suggest that he should not have created man and/or that he shouldn't have given us the right to choose to accept or reject him. Blaming God for the evil in this world is like saying, "you shouldn't have given us a choice, you should have made us all love and obey you".

...but that wouldn't be love. Would you want to walk down the aisle and hear someone say "I Do" if you knew that the person didn't have a choice in the matter...would it mean anything to have someone profess their love for you if they didn't choose to love you?

God created man to love him and in doing so, he had to give us a choice not to love him. God doesn't commit rape or incest...he doesn't abuse children or fail to feed them. All of those things are a result of the choices made by other human beings.

And if you read the bible, you'll learn that God DOES intend to put a stop to all of this suffering in his time. He wants to give his creation the chance to choose to love him and when he is satisfied that has been done, he will bring about an end to all suffering and pain.

I under stand your skepticism but may I ask you too look at it like this? God made everything that was made. He gave life to everyone. What we do, is free will, not what he want us to do. For example. If I get in my car and run through the side of a McDonald's and kill as many as I can, Is that the fault of the Car maker? Or if I take a cell phone wire it to a bomb, and use it to blow up a building is that Verizon's fault? The world we live in is that way because of what we do, or do not do. What have YOU done to ease the suffering, the hurt the pain?

Everyone is born evil. Every person has a choice. God doesn't just show up when you need Him or you want him to show up. God gives every child a chance to choice a path. Some people chose the wrong. My point is the human heart is evil, that's why the Great Flood happened( at least that's what it said in the Bible). All those things happened, because of us.

God doesn't bring children into the world to suffer. God gave all of us the gift of free will. Sometimes that gift is used poorly and others free will choices impose on others in a very negative way. In order to share in Gods paradise children must first be conceived. Weather they live a happy life is the responsibility of those who inhabit his earth. Although they may suffer a great deal, their reward will be the ultimate gift.

God warned us repeatedly in the Old Testament that bad things would happen to us if we didn't follow the instructions He wrote in The Laws of Moses. And that's what has been happening ever since when we thought Jesus abolished The Laws of Moses. I'm convinced we have no choice to turn things around but to once again start following the laws of God that we abandoned.

God doesn't micro manage. He has put most management of mens affairs, in our own hands. Guided by His Spirit of Love and His Word.
All He could do, would be to invade and take over by force! Which the Bible actually indicates, He will do; when the timming is right. That is when the world is clearly devided between those who accept God's rule, and those who reject God and His lordship.

i've got self assurance there is one God who despatched each and every of the prophets and the relevations. i even have self assurance that each and every person religions have been one, on the initiating, and persons replaced them with time to how they wanted to have self assurance. i think of there is in basic terms one God, if there replaced into extra desirable than one God, each and every God could take its creation and seperate it from the others, it may be impossible for many Gods to stay jointly, because of fact they have loads of means and could they no longer injury one yet another with petty arguments? i do have self assurance God exists because of fact, if there replaced into to be no God there could be no longer something in the international. each and every of the organic and organic methods each and every little thing happens together with his order

"The truth of God's love is not that he allows bad things to happen. It's His promise that He'll be here with us when they do. "
