I've been wearing a ring I never liked, which was my mother in laws. Let's just leave it at that.

I'm getting a new ring. Would it be inappropiate to get a single ring with a diamond rather than a bridal set? To just have a solitaire like an engagement ring, without a wedding band?

I plan to read a novel from every country. Which books are most worthwhile, both as a means to gain the truest insight into the soul of each land, and also from a literary standpoint?

I have a long-term ambition to read one literary novel, in English, from (almost) all of the nations on earth. For years, the books I've read have been written, almost exclusively, by white, upper-middle-class American and British authors. I want to expand the breadth of this reading dramatically. I cannot name a single writer or novel from Mongolia, Indonesia, Somalia, Morocco, Brazil, etc etc, much less any of the literary gems from these countries.

So: which single novel from each nation is most revealing of the lifestyle, customs, struggles, history and national spirit of that country? I'm from the Indian subcontinent, so I'd nominate Rohinton Mistry's 'A Fine Balance'.

my bf told me he has given up with me been together over a year but i told him i wanted to be with him to make things work,, so on thurs i asked him how he felt about me and what his intentions were and he didnt answer he hung up so about 10 mins later he called back and i asked him again he hung up so he hasnt called since thurs, so on tues i sent him a text message just saying hope all is well he replied hi then at 4 he wrote me an email saying i have been acting funny that is why he hasnt called and said how are things, i told him if he dont want to talk thats fine with me and i said i have been trying to be with you but you act like u dont care anymore so i said to him i gave up, told him hope he finds someone to treat him the way he wants in and out of the bed told him he should wish the best for me, like i am wishing the best for him, no response no im, no text. nothing from him, is he thinking about the situation or is he being shy/hurt or just ignoring me hoping i will go away?

I've conceded to the fact that as a bipolar person I will be medicated indefinitely. However, it frustrates me to no end that I'm a handful of pills away from being back to that place mentally. It costs me almost $200 a month to be close to living like everyone else. I guess this was a partial rant, but I wanted to see if there was anyone else.

I am in desperate need to refinance my vehicle. I am currently paying payments on the vehicle but the loan has been in my boyfriend’s dad name. I took my THEA yesterday. Wondering if anybody knows how it's scored? There are 40 multiple choice questions over 7 topics and I have to score a minimum of 230. There are 50 multiple choice questions and I must score a minimum of 230. The Writing consists of a 300-600 word essay and 40 multiple choice questions and I must score a minimum of 220. Does anyone know how many questions I need to get right to pass in each subject? Or, is it even scored that way?? I should get my scores in about a week, and I feel like I did OK on the writing & reading, but the math however........................... Any input would be greatly appreciated!

well my hard drive just got replaced because it was making sounds, freezing, and turning off on me, then yesterday i fell asleep, my computer was on(i was scanning my computer and had yahoo messenger and firefox running) then when i woke up i checked on the computer and none of the programs that were running were open, it was like the computer was just turned on/restarted. i dont know if i should be worried since my computer is running like new and it hasnt done anything of what i mentioned above(stuff that happened when my hard drive was still broken)

is there a way to check what happened to my computer or should i just leave it alone?
