Why is one person hated, and another beloved?

I mean in general; some people (hi!) still believe that Kobe is a rapist, and some believe that Vick is innocent. But it seems that most people now despise Vick, but most people still love Kobe.

I've seen this in plenty of cases, and I want to know your personal thoughts on why you view two people in two similar situations in two totally different ways; one is viewed with absolute disgust, one is still (inexplicably) regarded as one of the best in his league.

The finance company won't advise where you should invest & I feel I should be more aggresive if I have a horrid rate of return. but 5.o might be great for all I know!?!) (I'm 35 so I thought maybe being a little more aggresive would be okay.

Some people do not believe in the Trinity or the oneness of the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Here are four verses which prove that they are one and the same:

ok so yesterday at field hocky practice (it was the first practice) and everyone was coming out of a long summer most everyone is out of shape including me! and with field hocky you run very hard and it was sooo hot!! well after a while when we did running drills i got so tired that everthing started spinning and when i looked around it got dark and like i had on sun glasses on it was soo weird. but then i got a drink and caught my breath and was fine and i dont want to tell my coach cause we only have 14 player and thats only enough 4 a game and thats with out ingeries so what happen and do u think it was the heat ? (cause later the sun whent down and i was fine)

O.K. so I'm doing a favor for a friend at work. Going to put a new waterpump in for him great, easy, piece of cake right, WRONG! There is some big huge nut here that I've never removed before and have No idea how to remove. If I turn it one way all the pulleys move the other way turns the engine over....Any Help? Honest help! What's On His Mind?
i'm married and became embroiled in a three year on-off again affair with a guy I knew from a previous job. We had an on-off physical affair, but mostly communicated all day long via email. Just the other day, he said he can't email as much, because of his job, but I wonder if he is just trying to distance himself from me.....he claims he's not and that I shouldn't take this personally. That he needs to focus on work and secondly, that he can't be with me in the way he wants to be. I asked if he's just seeing someone else and he claims not to be....that he would tell me. Is he really seeing someone else, or does he just want to be friends with me? He claims to still love and care about me....

Could someone please give me a bearing on the use of adverbs in grammar, daily conversation and (more to the point), their use in business.

To me they seem like a short cut of some kind, to compress an idea in a very clumsy way. Try to avoid them myself....

Could someome please give me some ideas of
a) when to AVIOD them
b) when to it would be OK use them

Oh, and before you say it (yes), I am also curious of how much validity that quote from that 1995 movie `Outbreak` has, when Kevin Spacey's character (Casey Schuler) was taking some dictation about a crisis and said " It's an adverb, Sam. It's a lazy tool of a weak mind. "
