Hotel usually asked for your cc, just to verify your id, and at the same time your cc acts as a security deposit, just incase you use the minibar or damage something within the hotel room. But don't worry, it is just a security, they will rip off all the cc details, if everything is satisfactory, when you leave the hotel.
