In promotion of ACTUAL knowledge of established poetic tradition to counterbalance the overabundance of questions from would-be poets seeking needy validation for their personal poems, I'll give best answer status to the person who FIRST answers all 5 questions below SATISFACTORILY.

I already know the answer to the first four, so it's #5 that's make or break as your subjective response. Make it cogent and articulate!

1) What are the three basic types or modes of poetry? Provide names and definitions.

2) Name one Elizabethan poet, one romantic poet, and one modernist poet.

3) What is "prosody?"

4) Who is the current poet laureate for the US?

5) How is poetry relevant to you in a 21st century society?

I've been watching some shows online from other countries, like Britain, France, Switzerland, etc. and I realize they have better writing, greater ideas, and aren't focused so much on Reality TV. So why is it that these countries have great tv, and America, with so many companies and budgets, can't produce anything but crap?

I thought the psychics out there could help us know how the miners that are currently trapped are doing?
I know that the famous psychic Sylvia Browne has made predictions about trapped miners before.

to all sci-fi movie geeks out there.....don't you all realize that in all alien movies like alien vs predator, and the movie where sigourney weaver acted as the heroine to save herself from aliens...all of them are related somehow....they killed the aliens the ez way possible: torch guns or laser guns, etc. but get this....have u all imagined a movie whereby the humans lost the battle against aliens and at last, dominated the world? Why can't hollywood directors make a movie like that? I find sort of interesting.....don't u all think so?

I was married. we blended families. her daughter called me daddy. my 2 kids got attached to her. some bad stuff went down last spring. we were fighting all the time and she was depressed which added a lot of problems. now we are going through a divorce. i can't say that i miss all the fighting but at one point our marriage was beautiful. i haven't heard from her in 3 months. I was repeatedly told by her she'd be devastated if anything happened to us. She's the one that left though. Anger played a big part in the last 3 months between the two of us and only contact has been through attornies. I was told i was the love of her life. How can i tell if she wants to come back and try to get some help without any contact? it seems a waste to throw a marriage away when we worked so hard at blending the family. Yeah some nasty stuff has been done since we split but can't we turn that around? How can i tell if she misses me? she's got a really big ego and won't show it if she does.

If Gods name isnt Jehovah, and JW's have never seen God in person? Why are they Jehovah Witnesses?

Shouldnt they be like "Creator Gods believers" or "higher power think tank" and so on and so forth.

BTW for all concerned, "Jehovah" is the german word for Yahweh. So unless YHWH was definately Gods spelled out name, and God is German, then Jehovah ISNT his name.

Are they really witnessing for him? Does one who denies the trinity and deity of Christ a good witness? Would they worship Jesus if he walked into the room as the apostles did? Or say "Hi prophet-only Jesus?"

If Im wrong on any of these, feel free to correct almighty God watchtower guards.
