It's been a long time since I had a drivers license - didn't renew it from moving to NYC over 15 years ago. Now I need a license as I spend a lot of time outside of the city. I'd love to know if I can get my license in upstate NY and still have it registered with my NYC address. I think it would be easier than having to deal with the NYC DMV. I'd appreciate any and all insights. Thanks in advance. - TS

?Why do you women get soo angry over the smallest things? Example: You say you want to go out to eat, and you show up and we are still sitting in our underwear. Now you know we can get together in less than a minute, but you storm out anyways. It gets kind of annoying and is alil childish.. Who agrees ?

my car runs good had it up to 139 km with power to spare. In the mornings though it will lose power sometimes, where I can't get it up to 90 km per hour. it will just kick down and rev high but not accelerate and even slows down. So I will pull over and wait for a bit , start it up and it will run fine or do the same thing later on. Its not hesitating or stalling but I can feel the power lose in the gas pedal. 1.6 liter carburated engine, 3 speed automatic, oil and coolant are fine.No clue why

I have always been told that 2 wrongs do not make a right but according to an article I recently read online in the Baptist Press if it isn't right it is at least better.

In a story discussing an "ex-gay" they say:

"Although Glatze's new religion of Mormonism denies essential elements of Christianity, his story of leaving homosexuality is nonetheless significant."

http://www.sbcbaptistpress.org/BPnews.asp?ID=26210

If his conversion to Mormonism denies essential elements of Christianity, in their eyes he must still be going to hell. I do not see why they are so happy about this.

Can anyone clear this up for me? Am I missing something? Or do they just have an anti-gay agenda where anything bad for gays is good for Christianity?

I've started acting in student films, a feature, some extra work, local theatre, etc. During an audition and callback I found that the cost of travel to LA is staggering. An 800 mile round trip costs me 3 to 4 times what the job would pay. I've started to concentrate on gigs up here, but eventually I'll have to deal with the travel issue. Any ideas?

Husband & wife owns a tiny neighborhood convenience store(sells groceries, beer & wine, lottery) & works 7 days a week (about 80 hrs/week). They've been working in this arrangement for past 5 years. They're getting a little tired physically cause they don't have any days off & bills need to be paid.

One day one of customer asks if we would hire him part time.

He says he has a regular full time job(cashier at some market similar to ours but bigger) where he pays taxes. Since he currently works Mon-Fri, he says he can work for us just on Sundays(9 am to 8 pm). But he'd rather want to be paid cash(at minimum wage($7.50/hr)). If we hire him, we can have Sunday off to relax.

Should we hire him with this arrangement?
I am just afraid of IRS or some government agency might come after us later on.
Or will IRS give us a break since we pay full taxes and the potential part-time employee pays taxes on his other full-time job? The store is in Los angeles by the way
