What God never sees, what the king seldom sees, and what we see almost every day. What is it?

I am a member of a 12 step program and have been developing a contact with a God of my understanding for the last year or so. I would like to find a specific place to worship my higher power but I have noticed that a lot of denominations and religions have real trouble with gay/bi men. I have no time for a 'church' like that. My God made me and is cool with who I am I would like to know what religions or denominations are compatible with the whole "of our understanding" thing and are not out to 'cure' gay/bi men

Please waste neither my time nor yours by telling me how God hates gays cuz you aren't God.

I was wondering what kind of deductions I could claim on next years tax returns. I've heard you could use things for work as long as they excede a preset amount, but I don't know if that can apply to someone working part-time or if there are other things I could deduct because I'm a full time college student.

In other words, someone that you went to see, expecting them to be really bad, but you ended up loving them (or, expected to love, and were disappointed).

I saw the Go-Go's in 1994 in San Diego, at one of those Christmas pacakge shows put on by a local station there. I expected their show to be a laugher. The tore the place up, and the crowd loved them. I even bought their greatest hits CD the next day.

Doesn't 1 Corinthians 16:1, 2 speak of Sunday school offerings?
1 Corinthians 16:2
No, there is no reference here to a public meeting. The money was to be laid aside privately at home. A famine was raging in Judea (Romans 15:26; Acts 11:26-30), and Paul was writing to ask the churches in Asia Minor to assist their famine-stricken brethren. These Christians all kept Sabbath holy, so Paul suggested that on Sunday morning (which was the time they paid bills and settled accounts), after the Sabbath was over, they put aside something for their needy brethren so it would be on hand when he came. It was to be done privately or, as La Santa Biblia (a Spanish translation) says, "at home." Notice also that there is no reference here to Sunday as a holy day. In fact, the Bible nowhere commands or even suggests Sundaykeeping.
But isn't John 20:19 the record of the disciples instituting Sundaykeeping in honor of the resurrection?
John 20:19
On the contrary, the disciples at this time did not believe that the resurrection had taken place (Mark 16:14). They had met there "for fear of the Jews" and had the doors bolted. When Jesus appeared in their midst, He rebuked them "because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen." There is no implication that they counted Sunday as a holy day. Only eight texts in the New Testament mention the first day of the week; none of them imply that it is holy.According to Romans 14:5, the day we keep is a matter of personal opinion, isn't it?
Romans 14:5
Notice that the whole chapter is on judging one another (Verses 4, 10, 13). The issue here is not over the seventh-day Sabbath, which was a part of the great moral law, but over the yearly feast days of the ceremonial law. Jewish Christians were judging Gentile Christians for not observing them. Paul is simply saying, "Don't judge each other. That ceremonial law is no longer binding."

I attended university courses in the spring, (did well) and recieved financial aid and a pell grant. I was a full time student.

This summer, I had registered for the second summer session classes, but didn't end up attending. I withdrew from my courses, with a 25% tuition penalty, which I haven't paid yet.

I went to go pay what I expected would be the 25% tuition penalties, so that I could register for fall classes, and found that I had not been charged the 25% fees, but for some reason my pell grant for $2025 has been reversed. The grant was awarded with my spring financial aid, and I can't imagine why it would get reversed for dropping summer courses. I'm waiting to hear back from the financial aid office, but in the mean time, I'm freaking out! (I don't have $2000!) This could end up being some sort of mishap or glitch within the school's financial aid system, but I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this in the mean time...

Thanks in advance

Why is it that when someone of a different ethnic background is able to speak in clear consice, manner people say that the individual is speaking like a white person. The last time I check speaking properly was not restricted to only white people. I have noticed that both black and white people say this: "You speak like a white person"

Well I gues my question why do we associate the use of proper language with being white?

The family of the woman who refused to take a polygraph when her child "disappeared" from her home is suing for "aggressive questioning" about the matter.
The family said the questions drove Trenton's Mom to suicide rather than admitting her probable guilt may have been the reason.
Everyone from the police to prosecutors have no other suspects than the Mom who committed suicide.

I am a Christian and I enjoy learning about my Indian culture and ancestry. I'm wondering how I can embrace my heritage and culture without denouncing my faith in Jesus Christ. There are many festivals and events that I would like to be apart of (just for the experience), but most of them are contrary to my Christian beliefs. So what is one to do?

Many victims of crime do not like plea bargaining. If you were a victim of a crime, or a close friend or family member of a victim, how would you feel if the guilty person was given a lighter sentence because he or she pleaded guilty and avoided a trial?

What if you were accused of a crime and, although you knew you were innocent, the evidence pointed so overwhelmingly to you that you believed you had no chance of being acquitted in a trial? In this situation, how might you feel about the option of plea bargaining?
