I over took an old man and his wife today. he was doing 40 mph on a 60 mph road. He followed me and pulled up behind me at traffic lights, got out of his car and had a go at me. If anything was coming the other way there would have been an accident. He took my number plate and and followed me for another half an hour.I am a 30 year old woman who is on the ball and a good, careful driver but come on, there is a limit to even my patience. Why do old people drive soooooo slow. Do they not realise it is unfair and sometimes dangerouse for them to do that?

My mother's birthday is coming up and she is a big online gamer. She showed me an article recently in her AARP magazine about a flexible waterproof keyboard that was dishwasher safe. I would really like to get this for her birthday. What I need to know is: I've found several different brands, which is best? It needs to be a full-size keyboard preferably in black. Also, where would be the best place to buy--I don't mind ordering online I just need to get it in the next 2 weeks.
Thanks in advance!

I am not ready to purchase a car, however I figured if I started paying car insurance now, when I am ready to purchase a car I wont have to pay so much to start the policy. Is this true?

okay so i told my uncle why i dislike the woman that he is divorcing. i wasnt going to say why, but he asked. so i told. im over it now, but he totally flipped out and basically wrote me out of his life. called me stupid and that i dont know anything.

i said i was sorry, that it wasnt my place and lets put it all behind us. but i also said we should probably stop emailing because i might say something else that might screw up things up worse.

im hurt and i dont know what to do really. Im really sorry for what i said but then again...its how i feel. i also dont want anyone in the family knowing what i said. im at a lose of what to do now.

A Harvard political scientist finds that diversity hurts civic life. What happens when a liberal scholar unearths an inconvenient truth?

August 5, 2007

IT HAS BECOME increasingly popular to speak of racial and ethnic diversity as a civic strength. From multicultural festivals to pronouncements from political leaders, the message is the same: our differences make us stronger.

But a massive new study, based on detailed interviews of nearly 30,000 people across America, has concluded just the opposite. Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam has found that the greater the diversity in a community, the fewer people vote and the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and work on community projects. In the most diverse communities, neighbors trust one another about half as much as they do in the most homogenous settings. The study, the largest ever on civic engagement in America, found that virtually all measures of civic health are lower in more diverse settings

"The extent of the effect is shocking," says Scott Page, a University of Michigan political scientist.

"We can't ignore the findings," says Ali Noorani, executive director of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition

Yet another Leftist sacred cow has been dispatched, it appears. "Diversity" has been exposed for the fraud that it is.

people in my school thought two people were lesbians, they said they weren't but then i got a text from one of them which was for the other one and it was a bit weird i showed it to some people but it spread, so now they are pissed off with me although people already thought it. I had nothing against them until now as they are 'going to get revenge on me'.

Was i wrong for showing a few people, should i just ignore them now im going to college?

in the Catholic Church? I do realize that some people get their fees waived but honestly: why pay to have a panel of people decide if you had a legitimate marriage or not? It's humiliating enough to have to disclose details about a bad marriage but paying to disclose seems twice as humiliating. Yes, I used to be Catholic. No, I'm not unhappy about being raised Catholic. (This circumvents some things).....thoughts? Namaste
