Michael Savage is a great patriot. I enjoy hearing his passionate views.

I would describe his views as having some elements of conservatism as well as libertarianism.

This would place him in the independant category, but in the right side of that spectrum, not the left (Ron Paul) side.

I think he is conservative but he doesnt hold punches back on either party, far from being a water carrier.. tells it like he sees it.. though sometimes annoying..

He's a radio personality who assumes the persona of a raving lunatic to get ratings. At least, that's my guess. He may be quite conservative, but so much of what he says is so far beyond the pale, that it's probably an act.

He has issues. His "liberalism is a mental disorder" is what Freudians call "projection".

I just call it "nuts"
