I think yes. They are killing our pets, poisoning our food, and putting lead paint in our children's toys. We had media pundits boycotting France because they disagreed on Iraq --- China is doing much worse.

Time to rename General Tsao's Chicken, General Tommy Frank's Chicken!

Oh, and they're threatening the "nuclear option" economically by withdrawing all their investments from the US to devalue the dollar if we keep pressuring them to make the Yuan based on competitive monetary markets.

There is another way of looking at this. We have tainted products in the US as well ( spinach for example last year) I feel that the unions are pushing this media thing about China because they are losing. If we want to pay 4 times as much then, ok, boycott. I dont think most americans want to pay so much for american made products reflecting high wages, health benefits, child care, maternity and paternity leave and all the things that chinese made products do not pay for. It turned out the France was right about Iraq. I think that we need to be careful what we purchase, but I dont think boycotting is the answer.

Yes, we should be and I have been personally for quite a while now. I would rather spend a bit more for something made in the USA and know it is not going to kill me than buy something a bit cheaper to save money then in the long run need super expensive medical care because the cheap product made me sick.

I think the best thing that this country could do for itself now is return to becoming a producing country. We should keep companies and factories here by putting a tax on imported goods that would make it more attractive to buy USA made goods.

Hell yes.We should all start by not shopping at WAL-MART!!!They import over 90% of their goods from China.I personally haven't shopped there in years and try to tell others what they do.I don't mind spending a little more for food and goods that aren't imported from China or sold by a company who is fattening Chinas military and their toxic environment not to mention their pocket.Chinas main bank has now overtaken Citi group as the largest bank in the world, not to mention they loan us 60 million a day for the so-called WAR in Iraq. It's all bad.Americans wake up they hold the mortgage to our country!

Boycott is too kind. They send their crap over here and if that isn't bad enough IDIOTS BUY IT!!! Whatever they send should be returned attached to a nuke. Do yourself a favor, anything that has china stamped on it destroy it before it destroys your son or daughter.
