YOu ask a question which could be answered by e.g.having watched t.v. or read it in a book or just know the answer . But there is always someone who gives the answer and a link to a www.something or other. Surely the asker could have done that in the first place . It usually comes from "top contributor". Marble, on heating, produces Calcium Oxide and a gas. If you add water to the calium oxide a Solid B forms. What is this Solid? Also, if you add excess water to this solid and filter a Solution C forms. What is Solution C?

Not so much a question here....I just wanted to say thank you to all the Cubs fans. You guys in Chicago are so full of class and great baseball fans for applauding Tom Glavine as he left the field in search of win #300 last night.

We got a good price on a house whose yard was mostly weeds, such as crabgrass, dandelions, bindweed, foxtails, etc. When we mow it, it looks almost like a real lawn, but the weeds grow back fast.

We don't have the proper equipment to do a new lawn. We're thinking of mowing it very low, doing some dethatching, aerating, etc., and then planting lots of Kentucky Bluegrass seeds. Our theory is that the KBG will eventually grow well enough to choke out the weeds. We plan to keep mowing the weeds low while waiting for the KBG to sprout, and then keep mowing slightly higher than the sprouts, so the weeds will have a hard time outcompeting the KBG.

Part of the problem is a slope where heavy rains would wash the dirt if no weeds held it in place.

Does this plan have a chance in hell to succeed?

Been with a girl a few weeks, Ive always been nothing but honest with her because she talks about how much she hates being lied to, yet, I found out a week ago that she has dated a girl before. She talks about this girl everytime her name is mentioned saying how much she hates her, but she lied to me about the reasons why she hates her.

I need a group opinion...My boyfriend of 3 years has never known his father. He apparently died when he was 5 years old and at that point his mother put away all the picture and memorabilia of his father.

He is now 31 and has never known what happen, or who his father really was. I feel He has some attachment issues, and think if he found out what happen to his dad some of those problems would go away...

What do you think? Should I encourage him to finally ask his mom to see the photo albums that are in her closet?

I am just concerned for him, and can't imagine not knowing what happened.

In Georgia, after one person files for the divorce, pays the money and signs the papers...how long after that does it take to be finalized? I know it depends on the circumstances but lets say it's non-contested. Once the other party is served the paperwork what happens then....say they refuse to sign them but does not get a lawyer nor do they contest it...just holds them and doesn't sign them. Will this go on forever or what will happen? Thanks.

I have an understanding that for an example Rei-chan is an affectionate term

what does it mean by Usagi-san?

I would not be surprised by this. The families are good friends, especially Bill and George H. W. Bush. And, especially with the notion of the Bush Dynasty and Clinton Dynasty.
