the middle east is a area, not a continent of its own. We associate the muslim/arab countries (+ Israel) on the Arabian peninsula with the middle east. The Arabian peninsula is geologically area of Asia. The Sinai is definitely area of the middle east yet is geologically area of Africa.

www.developmentex.org is another one, but it is more of a database for consultants to use/companies to find consultants. You will need skills here or else your CV will be ignored.
