I use Crossbow to kill poison oak. It is expensive. Ortho Brush-B-Gon Poison Ivy, Poison Oak and Brush Killer is a cheaper alternative.

After my granddaughter got it on her legs, spraying didn't help so I pulled up the plants by their roots to get rid of it. I had a trash bag handy to put them in. I wrapped my arms and hands in small trash bags to keep plants from brushing against my skin. It's the oil from the plant's leaves and berries that gets on your skin and causes the rash.

There are chemicals to spray on poison ivy that can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart or any place that sells plants. Read the directions and warnings to make sure the spray won't damage your grass or other plants.

There is a variety of brush b-gone that claims to kill poison ivy, it worked for me. It will kill any plants that it gets on, so be careful.

sadly they have some formula but it will kill your garden but it may be worth it!

to get rid of it from your skin you can't! deal with it for a few weeks!

it sucks but i poked myself in the arm and i did some research!
the toxic stuff that makes us itch could be on your garden tools and you can still get it from that without going in the garden so wash everythign you used that day!

i had a shovel i was using after mine cleared i went back in the yard but didn't start anything and touched that shovel got it again!
