I think about any two or three syllable name will sound good with Aberforth.

Christopher Aberforth
Edward Aberforth
... Really i can't think of anything that doesnt sound ok with Aberforth as the middle name.

Now Percival or Albus that might be a differnt story. ;)

Ancestry.com lists two Aberforths: a Thomas Aberforth from a 1548 Chelmsford, Essex, Herfordshire will and a H. Aberforth in a London telephone directory. How about Harry Aberforth (to go along with the Harry Potter theme)?

Ryder Aberforth
--or--
Cade Aberforth

and ignore what ppl are sayin about Aberforth being a horrible name. It's only the middle name so in all likelihood not a lot of people will be hearing it. I think it's a great name, although that may be just be because I'm an HP freak. Congrats!

Hmmm...what about
Aberforth Albus
Aberforth Harry
Aberforth Ron
Aberforth Severus
Aberforth George
Aberforth Frederick...actually, this one isn't that bad.

I'm a huge HP fan as well, but think about your poor baby. He will have to go through life with this name. This is a playground beating waiting to happen.

It's all well and good that you enjoy the HP books, but please for your son's sake, consider what you're doing. Aberforth? Why not just name him "hey there loser" ? Childhood is hard enough, why start him off 100 yards before everyone else?

Also, studies have shown that teachers grade more harshly children who have unusual names as opposed to regular run-of-the-mill names.
