I am getting a student that only knows sign language, they have an interpetor but to get a closer relationship with him I would like to know sign language myself, I already know the basics. My question than is does anyone know where would be the quickest and best place to learn ASL (American Sign Language)? Have you tried? How long did it take you to learn?

Thank you!

My late husband beleived that I was the beneficiary of his life insurance. I REMEMBER early in our marriage that we both changed our beneficiaries to each other. He told others that I was the beneficiary.

However, after he died I discovered that the insurance company had his mother as the beneficiary. She has made it very clear that I will not see a penny of it. I cannot find the documentation that indicates that I was the beneficiary. I know that as a general rule one cannot successfully contest the life insurance beneficiary. Under these circumstances do I have any hope of successfully suing for the money?

They keep avoiding all my questions so all I'm getting back is people telling me how correct I am! There are a few theists so it isn't that bad but I'd prefer some more to answer. I've noticed that I can get more to answer if I dumb down my questions but that isn't a very effective way of conveying a point. I don't want to insult anyone or anything either. Am I therefore doomed to have the majority of people around me agree with me all the time? Any atheists got any tips for me?

I'm writing a story, and there is a part in which I describe a toy.

So, I say:

"It was a water game, which consisted of, after the toy is filled with water, pressing a button, which GENERATED PRESSURE, and trying to insert as many rings as possible into some spears"

The part I would like people to correct is the words in capital letters.

By 'pressure' I mean, that when you press the said button, some 'air bubbles' are generated.
I'm just not sure is the term 'pressure' is correctly used here, because I know that water also exerts pressure over any body, even when there are no 'currents' or other 'forces'...

So, is it correct to say 'generated pressure'? Or would it be better if I said 'generated AIR pressure? (Or should I simply say 'generated air bubbles'?)

My job consists of me being on my feet for 8 hours. I do have time to sit down but not for very long. So far all this walking and standing has resulted in very little weight gain. How do I prevent swelling as I soon will be entering the 3rd trimester? Also, how much does walking help to ease the labor process?
