They keep avoiding all my questions so all I'm getting back is people telling me how correct I am! There are a few theists so it isn't that bad but I'd prefer some more to answer. I've noticed that I can get more to answer if I dumb down my questions but that isn't a very effective way of conveying a point. I don't want to insult anyone or anything either. Am I therefore doomed to have the majority of people around me agree with me all the time? Any atheists got any tips for me?

Hey, fraterlcd, you're right! And hey, it's not my fault, last time I checked those extra few theists hadn't answered yet.

Ahhh, a point is proved,
you need us.
And, despite what many atheist say about wanting to get rid of all the "crazy Christians", you just proved my point: you would be bored without us because it's no fun unless there is a real debate.
It's no fun to have someone always agree with you.
And, might I add, that we need you too for this very same reason. It's not always to try and convert.

As a christian theist I have a suggestion for you...or rather an answer...some questions take more effort and maybe a smidge o research in order to convey a formidable answer. This format caters more toward the quick pat answer from what ever intellectual resources are at hand and most people hangin out here might not be scholars or scientists or may not have the time to formulate the answers you are seeking. The average joe believer simply isn't prepared anymore than the average anti-theist has all their factual ducks in a row. Maybe you should take your efforts to an actual message board or post them in a blog or something...I dunno...Just a theory. Love in Christ, ~J~

Hmmmm.... just looked at one of your questions on "Do theists ever try to look at Religion from an atheists point of view". Of the 12 responses, 7 seem to be from what you call "theists".
Perhaps you have, as alluded in several of the remarks on that query, an inability to recognize an opposing opinion? Could it be your sense of denial is SO strong you don't actually see the words on the page? Do you need psychological assistance?
Or maybe you just need some help at math.
Note: For what it's worth, 7 divided by 12 is over 58%.

When you do such a good job of communicating your contempt for theist, by implying that the very acceptance of a faith indicates ignorance or lack of intelligence, It should come as no surprise that those who seek to participate in polite discussion ignore you.
I get it. You think theist are morons. You believe that simply being an atheist confers a vastly superior intellect. Well thats very nice for you and I am happy that you use your staggering intellect to post here in Yahoo Answers. I look forward to your positive contributions to mankind.

You have to lure them in with simplistic statements like "Isn't Jesus swell?" or "What has Jesus done for you today?"
The intelligent Christians (yes, there are some) that are interesting to talk to, never seem to last long here :(
