It could be because the person they are with tells them that they will love and support their families, make a decent life for them, and last but not least they will never leave their families. I know that sounds like a bunch of bull, but that is what happened to me. For some reason, I believed everything that my ex was telling me. After a while, i finally had enough and moved out - with my 2 children. Now my husband and I support our kids (my ex is nowhere in the picture). So I guess the question should also ask why some guys go out and have babies that they never intend to take care of and help raise?

I have 3 children that i support thank you, and we need a man to make a baby so why are you idiots, always dogging the women, i don't get it. It's not like we go get invetro and then go broke, i mean hellp, sperm is the adding factor here, go back to sex ed they teach you that. Plus ,this question does apply to men too. They get women pregnant then complain"how will we afford it" well if the guys would use the right brain, they wouldn't have that problem. you must be a guy, cause if you were a woman you would have phrased this question with both sexes.

well i guess that you would advise abortion huh? I honestly believe that all women can support their children if they got out there and started grinding, as if their life depended on it. Otherwise i would give the baby up for adoption but i am quite sure whoever you are speaking of or for those that really can not support their children they did not want to kill their kids and they have a right. lets just hope you never have to face the types of things that you are questioning, because things happen and they are not always as they seem

Why do men insist on making a women pregnant while never having any intention of helping to bring up or financially support those children...it takes two to make a child, not just he woman.

Women have children they cant support probalby because they are young they have no clue what there doing. Also they might love the chid so much and just cant put it up for adoption.

There is several reasons, sometimes its just an accident, but some do it to trap a man, or truly believe it will make their relationship better. And last but not least, to get money from the state.
