Whenever I ask why is there evil and misery in the world I am told all evil came after, and because of, man's original sin.
Ok, it's hard for anyone to disagree that the instinct for an animal (or human) to kill another living thing to survive is a very evil concept by anyone's standards. So, if every possible type of evil was caused by man himself, after the original sin, how did any living thing survive beforehand? Did they eat each other? But that was started afterwards, wasn't it? Or is the garden of Eden idea just meant to be symbolic and that presents an easy answer for anyone explaining away this idea. My point is that I find it difficult to bellieve that the basic instinct of kill to survive was created by any loving Deity. So, survival, along with death, fear etc. etc. all came after sin? Hmm...

I purchased a table on e-bay. It was defective. The seller and I mutual agreed to not go through with the sell. She gave me a full refund and was supposed to arrange for the table to be shipped back to her. 10 days later when I still had not been contacted by the seller or the shipper I contacted the seller again. She asked if I would allow her to resell the table and ship the table directly from my home to the new buyer. I agreed. The terms were a 3 day auction and the table would ship with a week.

The 3 day auction turned into a 6 day auction and 2 1/2 weeks after the auction has ended I still have the table. The buyer never paid. The seller has never contacted me and I'm sick and tired of having this huge box (6' x6') on my back porch.

I'm tired of waiting. The seller of the table knows it's here and has not done anything to remove it. When is it considered abandoned property so I can get rid of it?

My cell phone was drowned in mineral water in a span of 5 minutes. It all happened inside my bag without me knowing it. I turned off my cell phone and used a blow drying to remove all the moisture outside and inside (battery compartment and memory card slot).
The cell phone turns on but with a purple screen and a faulty backlight. After leaving it alone for 5 hours, it starts working again.
So do I need to open it and blow dry the insides or am I in the safe zone?

I just got out of a ten year relationship. (We started dating when I was only 14). Now I am dating someone new. He treats me so well and I know he would do anything for me. He has proven that. I do trust him, but I'm finding myself more insecure and jealous than I want to be. For example, in my past relationship nothing was left unsaid... after ten years if someone called him or he was going somewhere, he told me. No secrets, you know? But with this new guy, his phone will ring and he will silence it and never say who called. Once when I had the nerve to ask, he said, "My Grandma." It was 11pm! I'm 24 years old and don't want to seem like a child getting all upset over something so silly, but I just need to know if he should be courteous and telling me who's calling or if I just need to deal and give him his privacy. Any thoughts?

so every weekend I go to NJ but I am 9 months pregnant and my insurance is medicaid. If I still go to NJ and my water breaks can I use my medicaid card as insurance or will the bill me cause I am in a different state?

with one of her son's classmates. Her son is now being treated for cancer and she is his caretaker. Her husband can not quit his job to be caretaker due to then their insurance would be lost. This is an upper middle class family. She has no other convictions. Would you sentence her to jail, probation and community service, or what? I rented out my home last November to a lady who paid me an $800 deposit, and was supposed to pay $800 in rent. From the beginning she as a bad tenant, the rent was always late, and was never paid in full, instead was a little here & a little there, & most the time was never paid by the time it was due again. I let her get away with too much. Her rent is due on the 14th of the month, it is the 4th of the month and she has only paid $500 of last months & I cant get ahold of her. I don't have her work number because she switched jobs. The water &electricity have been disconnected at the house because the bills were past due &her kids are going around neighbors houses for a place to stay. I am living in GA right now because my husband is stationed here in the Army. Can someone give me a sample eviction notice? And tell me what she is required to pay? (in the lease I said late charges were $30 after 10 days and $10 per day thereafter) Plus how long does she have to get out?
