One of my nieces is 4 months old, and I havent been able to see her very often but when I do she is very friendly, smiles a lot, etc. My other niece is 8 months old and cries whenever I hold her ='(. Everyone says she is shy with me because she's older and doesnt know me as well, but with my boyfriend who sees her just as often, she is fine. Another theory is my boyfriend is softer and Im just bony, haha.When my boyfriend is holding her Im able to kiss her cheeks and give her all the love I want. Is it possible for babies to be shy? Or does she just not like me yet? Or maybe Im bony? haha this is kind of a funny question, I just dont want her to cry around me anymore

i watched [bb8 usa on showtime2]last night and all of a sudden i see Daniele & Jen up in the Hoh room.Daniele made a promise to Jen if she won veto contest,she would use it on Jen to save her.what's up with that?Are they perhaps friends,or planning to betray her[Jen] to send her packing?somethig's up in her[daniele]sleeves,don't trust her,but i think Jen believes her though.Jen seems naive on the whole thing with daniele,she, after all Evel's daughter,or will she betray her obnoxious dad? mmmh..

I have been at a company 4years. I have had a medical problem that I only communicated to my supervisor, but have not ask for any special situation, no additional time off, and glowing reviews with raises & promotions, never written up for anything, numerous service excellence awards. Then I get an infection and have to go into hospital (not directly related to my medical condition) and while I was away in the hospital (short term disability for just about 2 weeks)I supervisor announces in a meeting to everybody what my medical condition is. Glowing review dated 7-29, manager says I am getting a merit increasebut on 8-3 HR calls says supervisor says there is "deficit performance" what exactly is unknown. Now I doubt I will the merit increase I was told on 7-29. I was wondering what recourse I have now that they wont what me because I am sick, even though I never needed or ask for anything different than anybody else. How can they tell everybody?

Can they fire me because I am sick?

Weve all heard stories about ignorant people, like pop singer Cat Stevens who had a near death experience and then found religion. We all know its never an intellectual choice, its an emotional choice or a birth choice.

So what about the reverse. What I mean is, I found atheism after I studied evolution in depth. I wasnt looking to become an atheist, I just had a thirst for knoweldge, and fell into it.

The thing is, I dont know how I get out of it now, cause it wasnt an emotional thing. Follow me here? The Genie is out of the bottle...I pulled the curtain back and found a little fat man, no wizard.

I can now tell you why monkeys are still around or why there is some hair on my toe. You might be tempted to say "yea, well you could go back if evolution is disproven". The problem with that is, its no better than saying the same about anything else in science, because the only thing that makes evolution controversersial is religious people, not scientists.

When I move to LA I'm getting full custody over my daughter and my ex-hubby is only aloud to see her when I say so. I'm going to let him see her every other weekend (if he's not busy and if he wants to see her). My daughter is 7 weeks old. She's going to start daycare in December from 8 AM-Noon and then her babysitter will pick her up and take her back to my house, while I'm at work. On the days I have off I'll pick her up. My boss is single and nice. When he flew out here to talk to me personally, we really hit off and went off to dinner. At the end of the night he kissed me on the cheek. I just very recently signed the divorce papers, but now I think I'm in love again. How do I tell my futre boss I felt something? He's a year older than me (29) and has a beautfiul daughter. He really likes my daughter. I'm so nervous.

OK well today on my computer I see my cursor on the screen rapidly flickering and if I don't move the mouse for a second it disappears. When I move the mouse again it comes back up but why is it doing this? It's kind of annoying me.
