"Business days" mean "working days" -- Monday through Friday, except holidays.

To count days between order and delivery, do not count the day you ordered, do not count weekends or holidays, and allow an extra day or two between the date of the order and the date that the package is shipped.

If Target shipped the order on Friday 8/3 (which is doubtful, if that was the date of your order), then it would arrive on Tuesday 8/7.

More likely, Target will ship the order on Monday 8/6 or even Tuesday 8/7, so you would receive it on Wednesday 8/8 or Thursday 8/9.

In other words, if everything is done on time, you _should_ receive your order on or before Thursday, 8/9.

But once in a while, orders are out of stock or shipments are late. This is the reason that Target's estimated delivery date starts on Thursday 8/9 and Target gives an extra 5 days "just in case".

Good luck.

The term 'Business Day' is defined as Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. If they estimated delivery on or after Aug 9, and that does not meat your needs, you should not have placed the order. Next time TALK to someone and explain the situation in advance. They MAY by able to arrange faster service.

A enterprise day is any day that doesn't fall on a weekend or trip. So in case you ordered something on Mon to reach in 2 enterprise days, it will be there by means of Wed. in case you ordered it on a Thurs, dont assume it until Mon.
