This is a straightfoward question. I note a lot of people here that use spam, cut and paste "factoids" about their brand of religion in what seems to be a desperate effort to dispel and debunk the popular view or established facts about their belief.

If you are comfortable believing your religion is the "truth", then why is it of any importance what I believe...or the next man or woman believes? The truth does not need an advocate, it can stand alone. You cannot force anyone to see what you see.

So, what is the objective of trying to change people's minds through these tactics (cut and pastes, lectures, factoids, etc) ?

Hi all, I currently have a Shared Parenting Plan with my ex, concerning our 8 year old son. Recently he has seperated from his wife, and is now living with his girlfriend at her mothers. I have concerns of where my child is going to go to school, because he no longer has a place of his own, nor the time to get him to school, because his wife had done it all. I just recently found out that he has a suspended license and a bench warrant. What I really need is someone who may be a lawyer, who can tell me if I have to release my son back to him with these conditions. I am deperate and need some advice. I have already filed for full custody, but that isn't good enough, because we haven't been to court.

I understand the difference in the definitions of the use of the property, but what does this mean in terms of the mortgages offered for each type of use?

Is the difference in the rate, term, max LTV? Something else?

If you have one residence in a town and want to buy another, but expect to occupy the 1st for some time while you rennovate the 2nd, will the "use" of the 2nd be considered a primary residence?

Thanks

last week while at an inn on vacation, i met this girl who worked there. we both had similiar interests, and spent a lot of time together. she'd always hold my hand and smile at me, and she'd always hug and kiss me, or just rest her head on my shoulder. she was sad to see me leave, and said that she'd be working there again next summer. she gave me her phone # and address, but she doesnt use email or IM or anything online. she lives in texas, and I live in pennsalvania. i think about her all the time and really miss her, but i can't call her until she returns home at the end of august, since the inn only has one office phone. she's the first person who's truly understood my feelings and i feel really lonely, since i really don't have many friends. does she love me? how can i try to start a relationship with her? what should i do? honest answers, please!

I have such a hard time with this... I feel that it you actually let something go... it's gone forever. I don't believe it will come back. Of course, I always hear this phrase when it comes to relationship breakups. Once you "let them go" then everything changes -- how could they come back??

"This isn't the 15th century. You can't go around the world and just plant flags and say 'We're claiming this territory'," said Canadian Foreign Minister Peter MacKay.

"There is no threat to Canadian sovereignty in the Arctic ... we're not at all concerned about this mission -- basically it's just a show by Russia."

This has been an ongoing pattern throughout my parents marriage. My mother would always get upset over a thing which she considers as 'utterly important to the family.' Over time when things occur, my father is always at fault. I am getting low grades. "Blame the husband! Hes a bad father!" Oh your son lied to me. You are such an irresponsible father. My mother has been such a nuissance ever since my birth which my father never experienced when they were dating. My father has regretted ever since of their marriage. My mom would scream in vain as if 500 speakers were in the room, eyes explode in redness, and even curse and use a powerful word, hate. I've lost my tolerance for my mom's horrible attitude toward me and my father to the point I deem her as a Bipolar disorder statistic. She hates being criticized. I can't even call her a bipolar victim or she will scream at me. Another thing is her mood swings are extreme. A few weeks she is happy followed by rage. This pattern sucks.

I work as a CNA in an enviornement full of doctors who are all very well off. Although I work along side them to the point they are like family members would it be wrong to ask for help with paying my tuition, a child care payment or any hand me down stuff they plan on getting rid of. I am a single parent who is doing everthing in my power to make it through school with three small kids. I am not against hard work and I do work hard, but sometimes its just to the point that everyone needs to ask for help at some time. If one well off person made a contribution monetary or in-kind towards any struggling single parent, it would make a world of difference. Would this be wrong? Do you think it will work?

In the wake of Katrina, and seeing how our bridges are in need of attention....would you want future administrations focused on building America, or would you want dollars sent overseas to build new democracies? Given that Congress is now debating further spending and is stuck with George W. Bush's bills (having spent way more than anticipated in Iraq), do you see where America can also afford the added expense of fortifying infrastructure in need of repair or rebuilding?

Footnote: Saudi Arabia's huge oil revenue puts it in a position to build modern cities on the Red Sea, self contained with all the latest technologies...even having energy available at half the cost of what the rest of the world spends...while America under present Administration has squandered resources to (virtually) go it alone to fortify other nations.

What is wrong with this picture, or are you okay with it?

I consider myself to be a "heavy drinker," however, I would not consider myself an alcoholic. I drink every day, starting in the late afternoon and then continue until it is time for bed. My usual drink is Vodka mixed with something and beer. I'm just trying to get some perspective on how much others drink, and if they consider themselves a alcoholic. (I do not consider myself one because I do not have a absolute craving for alcohol and I am not an unpleasant person when I am not drinking it).

I incurred a back injury and visited the chiropractic doctor 14 times. I had a MRI, massages, and exercises done. I feel better now. The visit to the doctor cost me $1500 and the MRI cost me another $1500. I had a coverage for PIP for 10000 and the guy who hit me had a full coverage on his car.
My attorney is filing a case against each of these companies.
My lawyer is telling me that I dont have a valid case because I didnt sustained a permanent injury. My attorney had asked with my doctor for my medical release.
I was also paid $4500 for my car by ALLSTATE (The insurance company of the guy at fault).
I am a full time student and trying to complete my school on loan. So I haven't worked from the day of my accident to this date.

So my attorney is filing for a settlement with both of the insurance companies. So I am going to get any money from this? I had a doctors bills for $1500, MRI cost of $1500 and a $4500 for my car.
So how much is my case worth now? I am in florida
