OMG, first yeah i expected it to be surprising and exciting but the ending oh dear, it exceeds way of my expectations especially about that Snape guy,no wonder Dumbledore always trust him..but still the story is quite sad, I even dropped a couple of tears..Harry Potter rocks!!!and congrats to J.K.Rowling for writing and producing such a fantastic book....

I liked the ending quite a bit: the series was closed nicely with a neat epilogue. I was, however, fully prepared for Harry to die, even if deep in my heart I always wanted the hero to survive. I do hope that J.K. Rowling makes a sort of Harry Potter "Encyclopedia" to give avid readers a bit more information on the events occurring after the main character's times at Hogwarts.

I expected a more imaginative end to Voldemort than another backfired curse. The ending was a little disappointing. We could have done without the epilogue. I didn't like to see Harry married with children. So ordinary a fate. The rest of the book and the series was real good.

I was quite pleased, I honestly thought that either Ron or Hermione were going to die, but THANK GOD!!! that didnt happen....I felt really sorry for Fred, he was so funny, but I CRIED because of Snape, his story was just sad and that death, it was cruel....what impressed me teh most was how many people here got that right before the book even came out: that Snape was the good guy, and that Dumbledore had commanded him to kill him, I honestly found it hard to believe until I read it....
The ending overall was pretty good, I liked it...

It was good. Harry's character was never compromised and Voldemort was removed. His power was destroyed once and for all. The epilogue showed that life went back to normal without him messing things up.

it was good, i liked the 'later years thing' i think i was partly let down by the hype over the past few months over who was going to die. i kept thinking it was so and so and it wasn't. not that i wanted those people to die it was just i was expecting it and it didn't happen.
