Something fell in the over (or was in it already) and caught fire. The fire was quickly put out, but now we have this plastic residue on the bottom of the over. Is there a type of cleaner that can get rid of the melted plastic without ruining the non-stick surface of the oven? What is the best way to get rid of it? It is such a thin layer that scraping is not really an option, but the fumes are still really strong if the oven is turned on.

I have started many groups, and then deleted them.. Most of them being exercise and diet groups... I just can't stick to them.. Can you? LOL I can't! I know why... I am always to busy to exercise, or I can't stick to a "diet"... So I have yet again started another group... For busy Moms/women... It is for all of us that are so busy and are trying to squeeze in exercise any way we can....... Did you know that housework equals exercise? Instead of dieting, lets just be healthy, if we are, the weight will come off.. We have a house to run and some of us have kids. Consider the similiarities: They both have a "special" group of people, and a force of evil growing within it. Along comes an uninitiated hero, who through many trials, proves himself worthy to not only join this special group, but to challenge the undefeated evil guy. And in both stories the hero and the villain have a unique connection: Harry's scar/wand, etc and the father-son connection...I rest my case

I'm using the vinegar to try to remove a mole and want stronger acid to make it work faster.

I tried evaporating the water by leaving the cap off the vinegar bottle, but after 3 days the vinegar is at the same level as when I started! So now I want to try boiling it. Will this work? Will it harm my plastic electric kettle that seems to have a teflon coated heating element? Thanks.

Catholics, who is your favorite Saint, and why? My favorite (and my confirmation name) is St. Michael, because I used to get in trouble a lot when I was a kid, so I would pray for his protection (I still do!)
I guess my second favorite would be St. Anthony, as I ALWAYS lose things, and he has helped me find everything I asked him to help me find.

Why, when you are confessing a sin....do the elders want to know every intimate detail of it????

I feel out of the truth about a year ago, due to extreme depression(marital problems) and got into trouble...the elders never bothered with me before but as soon as they found out I was having an affair, they were hunting me down....even to the point of blocking me in at my place of employment...

They set up a time for me to meet with them and I went...I mean, I had to face my mistake...but still in the throws of depression I could not answer their embarrassing questions and because I couldn't I was expelled...

I'm not bitter...I know that this is a loving arrangment and the congregation has to be kept clean...but I want to know why they must know every single intimate detail of my wrongdoing?

p.s. I am now separated from my husband(who knows and understands why I did what I did) and have left the other man even though I still love him....

I would really love to be a first grade teacher when I graduate college. But I have some questions.

While reading newsletters from other first grade teachers out there....this is what they have said. "We are having a wonderful time writing in our science journals."
"We just finished up writing a story about dinasouars for our science unit."
How can first graders write in journals when they don't know how to write?? By the middle of the year do the students know how to read or write little sentences or what?? When they come to you from kindergarten......do they know how tor read or write a little?? Please answer my questions because I don't know what the students already know when they come to first grade....thanks!

I have a female blue gourami that has recently started resting on the bottom of the tank. It's dorsal fin is clamped down on its body, and its gills appear very red on the inside. I also have a male dwarf gourami and another smaller honey dwarf grourami in the tank, and they appear to be fine. Anybody know what could be wrong with the blue gourami? My chemical levels are good, and I do frequent water changes. If it is sick, is there any type of medication I can get for it?

I hate Wal-Mart as much as the next guy and in fact I never shop there, for various reasons. But the latest news that they use unpaid teens to bag groceries in Mexico, instead relying on tips... I recall shopping at McChord Air Base in the 1980's and the baggers were also not paid. They relied on tips. Do military bases still use this practice and if so, why can't Wal-Mart?

Well for two days in early MArch, we had temps reaching 81 and 60 degree dewpoints in Detroit. The last day of if ended with Severe Thunderstorms producing Flooding and Damaging Hail in Spots. The very next day, we went from the low 80s to the Upper 20s with Lake Effect Snow.

Then another scenario, one day, we had 70 degree temps in late MArch/early April so we saw some evening Instability Rain Showers that produced some pretty heavy rain witha 60 degree dewpoint. About 5 hours later, it was like a blizzard outside with snow falling like crazy. The next morning we woke up to an inch of it.

In general I would say that atheist energy seems grounded in the root chakra but because they are thinkers and skeptics, they also have concentrated energy in the third eye. In general I would say that many believers have concentrated energy at the crown chakra, less energy at the root chakra, but perhaps more energy at the heart and throat chakra. Is this clash of strong energy contributing to the conflict between believers and non assuming you believe in the chakras? Could we find common ground by balancing all of our chakras especially in the areas where we are either lacking or congesting energy? Is this why buddhist and energy workers seem more at peace with all communities? Thanks for your thoughts.
