I think it is attitudinal..
It can be extremely annoying to have a clone of yourself walking around.I would definitely give them a good scolding and ask them to get a grip.
But then if you look at it from a lighter perspective , its is flattering! The very fact that someone perceives you to be worth imitating is flattering. But I would never call it the 'HIGHEST form of flattery'.

Not really .....to me the highest form of flattery is respect.
If someone wants to really understand you they will abide by your wishes and contemplate to figure you out.
Imitation is just a sign that somebody somewhere can't handle being themselves
Yet respect is what flatters me the most.
No seriously I hate when people try to act like me.....I don't know why....they have their own life......what is so special about me? Nothing really Im just another normal person.I have "difficulties" just like everybody else.
Well maybe Judas is flattered by all these people who have created clones of him lol

imitation is the highest form of flattery when you're like, 8. after that its just lame and annoying because they think that you dont know they are imitating you/something you've done and then it just becomes immature
