I've had Vegemite a couple of times (a friend of mine gave me a bottle of it after a trip to Oz), and boy was it salty! } X ^ P We Yanks aren't used to that, at least I'm not. I did dissolve it into water to steam veggies with, and as soup base it would be good. It's straight up that's hard for me to handle.

I saw Marmite in the grocery store a couple of months ago, and was hesitant to buy it, but still curious. Does it taste the same as Vegemite? Is it different? If so, how so?

Please check this link out. It lists great ways you can help our troops and even some ways to bring an Iraqi child a smile in the middle of their chaos.

Doesn't matter if you are for or against the war effort. But please, do something to make a difference in our brave men and women's lives today instead of just blowing hot air!!

They are there to back you up with their lives, no matter what for or when they get called for duty...at least show some support and give thanks for that!!

Kudos to all of you who already give your support!!

Medical studies and articles, and prescribing information for drugs, sometimes refer to differential effects in the "elderly".

Is there a standard definition of "elderly" in medical usage? Possibly it's an informal category, just as in normal speech. I'm trying to find out whether it has a precise medical definition.

Note that I'm not looking for guesses. Obviously anyone can guess, and I can guess myself. What I'm looking for instead is whether the word has a precise, generally accepted definition in medicine. If so, I'd like to know what the definition is (what cutoff age or age range).

Thanks.

I live near the nuclear power plant in Salem, New Jersey and I see that big cloud of steam coming from the stack and wonder if it's radioactive, and if not, why not?
It is steam coming from the water that cools the fuel rods isn't it?

the taliban may or may not free the hostages
theafgan may or may not free the taliban prisioners.
i think one of the ways the koreans can be free is to embrace islam. (even if it is for a few days)
this will make the taliban satisfied and they might be set free. I mean there is nothing to lose is there?
they can always be christains again.
believe me jesus and mohamed and moses could not care less what religion you are. the main thing in all real religions is
life. life is the most important thing.
thank you for your input.
cheers to all life loving people.

And what would the consequences be of putting it in an animal that takes longer than the regular human 9 months to develop?

Would the development of the child in question be slowed in order to accommodate the mother's gestational period?

Or would the child come be born developmentally farther along than a normal baby?

And what do you think would happen if this embryo was not only placed in another primate, like ourselves and gorillas, but in some other mammal, like a horse or a cow?

A friend and I got started on this topic and I find it completely immoral, and OUT of the question. As far as creating animals with human DNA in order to create organs to save the lives of those with organ failure, I think it would be alright. But creating a human/animal hybrid would be wrong.

Although, I've seen some half man/ half winged horse photos in Greek mythology that were pretty good looking! ;-)

I am a 16 year old girl; more or less healthy. I have not so recently noticed that every time I am going to get out I start having abdominal pains & diarrhea; sometimes accompanied by a stomach ache and nausea. Sometimes I get over it and get out and sometimes I don't because of the diarrhea.

Do you know what this is or why it happens? Or do you know anybody who has similar symptoms? Also, do you suggest any analysis (blood, urine, stool)?

Thank you for reading, and thanks in advance for your answer.

OK, so my question is...do you believe that a straight men could have some homo desires? I mean nowadays is widely acceptable that a straight girl could have fantasies for other girls but when it comes to men...everyone says: "oh my got, he is so gay".

But...take me for example. I adore girls more than anything :).
However I (as most of other men :), have some "thoughts" -
what is like a guy to give you a blo***, is he better than a girl? When you see some nude bodybulder in the back you think "omg what a muscular bu**" :)). When you see some interesting male face you say...hmmm what expression and dignity.

SO....what I am tryint to say is that men must be mor sincere with their sexual desires, even when it comes to another men it doesn't mean you are 100% homo.

What do you think? :)
