Time was that soldiers who died overseas, say during ww1 and 2 would often be buried in a military cemetary in France for example. There were a number of logistical reasons for this. But now it is routine to bring them home. The result is that in Iraq or Afghanistan there are no military cemetaries for fallen Americans or any other foreign troops. Lets say for the sake of argument that these counries turn into peaceful, model, democratic states. The descendants of the natives there will see no record of the foreign troops who died there for them. I think that soldiers should have the right to choose their final resting place. There could be soldiers who have developed a great affinity for Iraq since serving there and would like to be buried there should the worst come for them.
But right now they have no choice. Their bodies are automatically returned to the US. Those who choose to lie in Iraq will provide a powerful reminder to the locals of just what went on and who died for them.

I might get a Guenia Pig. I have owned one before, but that was when I was little, and the Guinea Pig was evil. It also squeaked every minute of its life. Here are my questions:
1. If I got a Guinea Pig, would it squeak all the live long day?
2. Would a 20 gallon aquarium be big enough for 1 guinea pig?
3. How much are Guinea Pigs from a shelter or from Petco?

The MOST famous name for God in the OT is called the Sacred Tetragrammaton –It is YHWH.

Asimovs Guide to the Bible says that the name Jehovah "arose by mistake" (vol 1, p. 135). The author further says : "This mistake has persisted and will probably continue to persist" (p.135)

Therefore Atheists/Agnostics have purer morals because their morals are not tainted by peer group pressure. They just want to be good for no other apparent reason.

Have you ever realized that by asking somebody out on a date, you're essentially just telling them that you want to have sex with them? The sex might not happen if you don't end up liking eachother, but that is the point of the whole process. Especially if you don't know the girl/guy well. In that case it's even truer. "I don't really know if I like you, but you definitely look good enough to have sex with."

I'm 22 years and have been a CNA for 4 years and just finished nursing school. I take my boards in mid august. Most people at work are extremely happy for me. But a few have changed toward me and are negative about everything. Especially this one nurse who has been an LPN for 7 yrs and failed out of an RN program. She constantly makes my life miserable there. I have two job offers...one at my current place of work with better money and bad hours and another at a very nice facility with a little less money but great hours (and no negative people there). I dont want to leave my place of work cause I love most ppl I work with and my patients, but I just cant deal with the negativity anymore. What should I do? Im so confused and dont know what to do about the mean ppl at work and my two job offers. How can I deal with her?
