yes it is. get some pantyliners. do not use tampons. your body is not fully developed yet and it is better to let nature take its course and let the blood flow.. if you are having any cramps, which mey feel like a bellyache just below your bellybuuton above your privates. then take some tylenol, or ibuprofin........ no asperin it will cause more bleeding...you may feel like you have diarhea, this is normal too. the same muscles that will cause the period and uterine contractions will also effect your intestines and make you need the bathroom. this is normal.... it may only last a few days. when i started it could last 2-3 days, or as long as 7-10 days. all normal. sometimes between periods you may have some discharge, usually clear, again normal, just use a pantyliner. also dont expect a period every 28 days like clockwork. it may not happen that way. you may have one now, then nothing for 3 mo. then a long period, then one the next month, then nothing for another 3 mo. this is ok too. your body is getting used to hormones thats alll.

Yes you probably have started your period. Unless it was a very very very small amount. (you should know if you started, it's probably a sizeable amount of blood) Anyway, if you dont have any pads stuff tissue in your underwear. Then tell a parent...if it's a woman she'll definately understand.
Your a woman!! lol
P.S. don't use a tampon!!

Talk to your mother because it sounds as though she has fail to speak to you about the changes your body will go through at your age.

Probably so...
If your mom is around, ask her...
If not, hit up a pharmacy or grocery store and pick yourself up some maxi pads and/or tampons.
