Is there a place that shows what colleges have really good programs for most if not all majors? Hi, I am kind of at a crossroads to getting an idea of what I want to major in before I go to college. I have generalized what sort of areas I'd want to major in. I just want to know what schools offer the best education then I can go down and pick one thats right for me.

Unfortunately, there isn't really such a place, since majors vary so much from one place to another and since that can change rapidly. If you are in the U.S., you can look at overall rankings of colleges on U.S. News & World Report's website, then you could also look at their rankings of various specific graduate schools in different subject matters to get a sense of who is "known" for something (very few schools are primarily known for their undergraduate programs). You could also look at the accreditation organizations of some of the disciplines to see which schools are accredited, but they don't rank the accredited schools.

Try the university catalogs. They usually explain everything the school has to offer and this way you can decide if that is what you want to do.
