if you ordered 'Volvic" in an American restaurant it means the water has taken a ship to get to you and thatt leaves a carbon footprint to big just for a glass of water.
I guess they have a point, would you order tapwater in a restaurant for the sake of being greener ?
Do you care that you beer flew from Japan on a freight plane just to get to your table.?

I always heard this was an impossible feat but in a previous question about acceleration in a vacuum due to gravity I was rewarded with this grand answer

so if i drop a teddy bear down a vaccum tube of infinate length it will reach the speed of light?

Since 2000, ESPN has poisoned baseball lexicon by calling a home team scoring a game winning run (via base hit or homerun) a walk off. No one "walks" in the process of getting a game winner. It totally insults the intelligence of a baseball fan. Whatever happened to sipmly calling a game ending RBI a game winner?

Also a side question: Is anyone else annoyed with ESPN in general? The "Who's Now" popularity contest is a joke. Simply crown LeBron James and get it over with (it's what they're going to do anyway). While I'm not a Sidney Crosby fan, he was totally railroaded by "voters" and the so-called "panelists" (a washed up NFL crybaby, a loser of a college quarterback who never made it in the NFL, and a hack Washington Post writer), not to mention the overrated Stuart Scott (boo-ya got old a loooooong time ago, fella). Totally diminished Crosby's accomplishments ("Jeter is on the Yankees, after all", that and I don't recall Jeter ever winning a regular season MVP). Weigh in people!

She has a name, a face, a personality, is individual to other women and people in general. Has a social life, friends. Most likely spends her money on things she likes doinf. is independant. Hopefully will find boyfriends and ultimately a long term partner/husband who is likley to be in the industry due to the jealousy side to things.

Possibly may switch to couple porn. ie with hubbie.

Most likely will live her dreams and travel the world and have fun etc.

Picked thet job as the opposite .

but for most people amy see a girl as sexy, they go over to talk to her. and find out shes into gymnatics, loves rock music, does skydiving, has lots of friends and part of a surfclub.

A girl in islam simply existed to be hidden, made to marry young to be nothing more then a sex object to make babies and look after them never interacting in the world, no friends

Before I go to the doctor I want to get some ideas what I'm up against .
When I press on any part of my body with my fingers ( espcially the rib cage) and other bones , It hurts so bad and the pain takes awhile to go away . I didn't hurt myself in any way .Does anyone know what this is ?

When I'm hurt, I hold it in and not show it. I don't communicate the anger b/c it shows vulnerability and possibly low self-esteem. Then later I get even by consistently being hostile and insulting. Friendships don't last very long as a result. How can I learn to deal in hurtful or angry situations?

I find that this is often misquoted (and out of context, too) usually by "name it and claim it" prosperity preachers. They tend to render it "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he" in support of the whole "positive thinking" (YOU can make it happen, brother !) teaching.

Accurately quoted and in context -

"Do not eat THE BREAD OF A MISER, nor desire his delicacies; FOR AS HE THINKS IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE. 'Eat and drink !' he says to you, but his heart is not with you. The morsel you have eaten, you will vomit up. And waste your pleasant words." Proverbs 23:6 - 8 (caps for emphasis).

Does this REALLY support the "confess it & possess it" group's teaching on the power of positive thought ?

Do you have any thoughts on this, and any examples of other often misquoted and misapplied Bible verses ? 10 points for the best (or should I say, WORST one).

I have a 2 year old female tabby. She is spayed and healthy.
Usually she sleeps at night. Untill about 4 am EVERYDAY she starts meowing really loud and non-stop. I get up, give her food but she won't eat. She won't stop it until everybody is up then she goes to sleep. It is really annoying to the point where I am considering giving her up because I can't sleep(and neither can my neighbors) If I lock her anywhere in the house she will claw her way on the carpet and destroy it.
I don't know what to do anymore.The vet said there is nothing wrong with her. Help, anyone???
