Mayonnaise..........Miracle Whip tastes sweet to me.....as a child, I had to tote my lunch with me, and to this day, I remember my Mom making me tuna salad with Miracle Whip.......YUK!!! I love my mom with all my heart, but sweet does NOT go with tuna.......When I became a teenager, I started buying my own mayonnaise.......But, it's a personal preference........Looks like it's a tie on this one so far.......Have a great summer and Enjoy!!!

Miracle Whip and Mayo taste entirely different to me.
I never understood why some recipes say you can sub one for the other.
Mayo is made with egg yolks, and Miracle Whip isn't.
Miracle Whip has a lot of sugar in it so it is quite sweet.
Mayo (good mayo) is not sweet.
Miracle Whip is for salads, it says right there on the bottle “Salad Dressing.”
Miracle Whip is bright white, mayo is more natural yellowish-white.

I am a Mayonnaise fan.

Mayo all the way. Miracle Whip has refined sugar added which makes it too sweet.

I think it depends on what you are making. I like them both. But to me, Miracle whip has always been more of a Salad Dressing base. Where to me Hellmans Mayo tastes really good on sandwiches.

If I had to choose between which I used MORE...it would be Hellman's Mayo.

Hellmans/Best Foods (same company) mayo. I just couldn't put miracle whip in or on anything and think it tastes better. MAYO!

Mayo! You can add all kinds of different ingredients to it to make the flavors soar.

Just made roasted red onion mayo the other night for sandwiches. It was heavenly!
