It is my understanding that the Roman Catholic church created this rumor that those who wear the symbol of protection and the elements (pentacle/pentagram) worship the devil. It was created to frighten and confuse Christians/Catholics. The rumor was created for control and out of ignorance. There is no devil in the Wiccan faith. Please...educate yourselves...we are no longer in the dark ages!

Ever since he did that car expolosion, we all knew that Vince Mcmahon wanted to stop wrestling stuff and faked a death. ( so he and Shane Mcmahon can focus on their bussiness instead) Do you think Vince Mcmhon and Shane Mcmahon should be back? I eventually do get a break through but its a horrible feeling when I am in the struggle. Some time back I used to just fly off like a bird any interprtation of either the struggling to pray or the flying or both would be much appreciated.

That is one of the most ignorant beliefs that I have ever heard.
Seriously, are the people who believe that really that stupid?
Have they never heard of people with disabilities, including learning deficits?
I think that is an arrogant, self-righteous attitude to believe that all poor people are simply lazy and that they should be hated and ignored.
Should ignorant people be tortured with a taser up their you-know-what until they get a clue?

My boyfriend hates to shop with me, doesnt like to go clubbing or out to eat. He also doesnt share the same movie interests or hobbies, but I love him to death for who he is. A recent poll showed that 41% of people surveyed would support government censorship on the radio and 34% would support government censorship on the internet.

I guess it goes to show that some folks believe in liberty, just so long as it is only afforded to them and those who agree with them. It's a shame. Once we sell out over our First Amendment rights in order to 'get at' people on the radio we might disagree with, all bets are off. The government is then free to bury our free expression under whatever propaganda they see fit.

I just read somewhere that vegan's should avoid eating yeast but I really don't unerstand why... can anyone explain it to me?

Is there something animal derived in it or is it just because yeast is considered 'living'? Does this mean probiotics should be avoided too?

I will stop eating yeast if I know an animal has suffered for it but I don't think this is the case.

Someone else here mentioned the fact that Gingrich was considering running for the Presidency, so I was prompted to post this question. I know that a lot of conservatives find Bill Clinton's private behavior objectionable, but is Newt Gingrich really any better? After all, he dumped his CANCER-STRICKEN wife in her hospital room to be with his mistress!Cheating is bad enough, but it's even worse when you're heartless enough to drop a bomb like that on someone who's dealing with a serious illness!
