There is nothing wrong with having a friend who is willing to spend time with you, enjoying what you like to do, regardless of his sexual preference. It is really no different than having a female friend joining you who is straight, exactly what would sexual preference have to do with enjoying life? At least he is willing to be seen with you, and do things. Your boyfriend could learn a few things from this gay individual!

You are doing nothing wrong. Obviously your boyfriend is a little insecure about you being around another guy, so invite your boyfriend to come out with u and ur gay friend. If he refuses, that is his loss... a platonic relationship with a gay man is just like any other friendship and ur boyfriend may need to hang out with yall to feel more comfortable with you hanging out with a male.
If he doesn't want to do the same things yall want to do... maybe reach a compromise.. but if he refuses... it is his loss. In relationships ppl must meet in the middle on some things or it will never work. You also must be allowed your own time and be able to do the things u enjoy or u will be completely miserable, which, in turn will destroy ur relationship. Best of luck!

hell no! Having a gay friend is really hip, and is totally fun to be with! Makes ya feel like "Will and Grace",doesn't it?(minus the whole exes thing)...
just resassure your guy that you love him, not the friend, and mention that your friend will never attempt to flirt with you or him(some homo-phobics think that gay's are out to get with them-not the case!)
Your guy sounds like he's hobophobic, as are a lot of guys. If you and your friend have been friends forever, then just mention that he's not going anywhere, and that he(you boo) doesn't have to hang out with him. Also mention that you only hang out with the friend because you still want to explore your interest, the ones that he obviously doesn't enjoy. Hell, maybe you can get your boo to include himself in these activities by saying this.

No you have a gay friend and you have a boyfriend. A friend is a friend, your boyfriend just may be a little homophobic. Ignore him because he isn't doing anything to make it better, wish I had a gay boyfriend. Much love.

There's nothing wrong with having a gay friend which by the way you are describing things that is what it is.
Getting in a relationship with a gay friend is not right for both of you. Think about it, plans to get married are out of the question unless he turns straight again, which yeah might not happen.
From experience, please don't get yourself involved in a relationship with a gay guy.

No you are not wrong. You have a boyfriend and a friend that is a male. Why is he jealous? Your friend is gay. If he can't handle it, drop you boyfriend and stick with you good friend. Boyfriends can be replaced, good friends can't.!!!!!!! If you don't have anything in common w/your boyfreind, then get rid of him. He sounds possesive. Sometimes I don't understand men...and I am 49!

Just like having a 'girl' friend Guess the bo needs to step up and start doing more with you if he doesn't like the gay friend situation
