To explain the argument against gay marriage, many people argue that the Bible says, "A man is not to sleep with another man the way he would with a woman." To make their argument these people interpret the passage literally.

Meanwhile, the Bible says the following: "Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly." (Leviticus 25:44-46)

The 2nd passge I listed essentially says that slavery is permitted, but I don't see anyone nowadays using this passage to demand that slavery be legalized, so how can one interpret the slavery passage literally to justify one's views without interpreting the slavery passage literally?

Explain this to me? I have been on Y!A long enough to see this Q over and over.. I just don't understand. Please explain why you think it is "hot" or "erotic" to see your spouse with another person (especially the opposite sex). I would freak out if I had to watch my man with someone else..

I would really rather not, the whole idea grosses me out. And this one guy was all huffy about it, so I dumped him. We weren't really close so it didn't matter, but am I going to continue to run into this problem down the road? Is this something that men really like to take part in? Is it even healthy? What can happen in this situation its been 9 months already and shes been stopped a couple of times and nothing has happened. She told me that she wants to go back but he was thinking about getting a lawyer. Please let me know what you think and dont tell me nothing out of the UCMJ cause it seems like the military doesnt follow that anymore.

This guy who I really like is still pissed off at me even though it's already been a week and he's mad at me becuz I asked him if he could hook me up with one of his boys even though we were talking and interested in eachother, but the reason why I asked him that was because I thought he was ignoring me and I just wanted his attention and see if he's trying to play me or not..Because he was asking me if he can come and have sex with me and he said that was just a joke. I been emailing him and leaving him messages saying I'm sorry and stuff..But he's still ignoring me. He really liked me as much as I did though..I can tell. What should I do? I been crying over him and now it's like a living hell because I can't live without him and I have deep feelings for him..I try to move on but I can't..without him I just cant. But I havent told him about this feeling about how much it hurts. What should I do? All he knows is that I'm so sorry but he doesn't know how I'm feeling rite now.

so, I'm doing this project for my boss's son who is also a boss and running a department in the company but he's only 3 years older than me he's like 25 or 26 something like that..so now i call him to check a few things with him on the project and he told me he'll come and check it out right away..but he never comes...it happened twice...and the next day it's like nothing happened..I waited for him for like an hour and he never showed up although he was in the firm..I don't know if that's rude or not ...I really can't understand him at all..and whenever he meets me for checking the project, he's always talking on his cell phone and he never gives me a chance to explain anything and i find it hard to understand what he really wants in this project...I'm tired of being treated like that and I can't concerntrate on my work..and he's not making it easier..plz someone tell what to do?

My endodontist prescribed Halcion which I'm taking in a little while, but still... sooo much fear!!! I fractured my tooth when I was little, and it developed into an abscess which was the worst pain I've ever felt. I was on 2 antibiotcis for 10 days, and now the time has come!! Two in one sitting!!! Will it hurt?? Advice pleeease, from an anxious patient!!! Thanks!!

I have a 2 year old and I got rid of the bottles, now I cant get him to drink any milk. I have sippy cups, Ive tried straws, he hasnt drank any milk in 4 days. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get him to drink milk without it being in the bottle?
