I don't remember the quick way of solving this. does it have to do with the nCr formula? i think there's another way besides drawing out the possibilities

Well you have 8 possible out comes (2 * 2 * 2). Out of those 8 possible outcomes, three involve 2 heads (the 1st and 2nd, the 2nd and 3rd, and the 1st and 3rd being heads). So the probability is 3/8ths.

Pascals triangle is the fast method. Or we can use the binomial theorem (p + q)3 where p is the probability of heads and q that of tails. The coefficient before p^2 term is the probability.

see take the ample space of xperiment.it is 8{hhh,htt,hht,hth,ttt,thh,tht,tth}so the answer is 3/8 as thr r three favorable outcomes.
else use binomial distribution.
let p=probability of getting 1 head in one toss=1/2.
thrfore q=probability of gettong tale in one toss=1/2
now for getting xactly two heads,probability=3C2p^2q^1=3/8.
thr r more methods to do this question.But i think these shud suffice
