We bought a drink at this honor system place where you put money in this box. There are no freaking cup holders on the buggies so we just had it in the cart. As she moved the cart the drink spilled and she slipped and fell and broke her wrist. By what means could we sue them?

I am building a model railroad with a ruling grade of 3 - 3.5%. Time is early fall 1979 (or late winter 1981). My roster consists of 3 GP9s outfitted with 567D3A prime movers rated 2500hp. 2 Alco PAs and 3 PBs outfitted with 1800hp 251 prime movers, and 3 to 10 SD35s. My trains will consist of 2-12 cars + caboose. I would like to run up to 45 car trains. Most traffic will consist of lumber/forestry products, automotive, and rock from the 3 online quarries.

I found an army site with some equasions
HPx30= starting Tractive Effort : HPx300/speed=TE

and No of Cars = TE/ [3+(20xruling Grade%)]xWeight of cars

Also included was tables for weight of car taking into accout friction and drag like a 70Ton car would be 105 in the equation and a 120T would be 160 Tons.

Does this sound right? or do I need to find a table somewhere with similar grades and use their TE tables or what? Thanks in advance for any help provided.

It doesn't have to be a nice apartment. I don't need fancy services. I know there has got to be mediocre buildings without the gardner and pool man and conceirge. I just need a place to live and I don't want to pay $1400 a month for a studio. I am looking for a 1 bedroom under $1000. Any help you could give would be most appreciated. Im having real trouble with peeling the skin off my fingers. I know, its really gross, but I cant stop. Ive done it since I was a child.
The problem is, the stuff that I tried to put on my nails (the stuff that tastes really bad...) does not help at all.
I play guitar, and it really hurts my fingers, because again, im peeling the skin off my fingers and cant stop... So I cant use lotion or anything to stop me...
I've tried chewing on pencils, sweaters, etc. but they dont work either...

A Nebraska meat packing plant is in turmoil over Muslim workers demanding time off during their shift to pray. They say their religion dictates they must pray each day, during a 45 minute break at sundown. Some apparently walked off the production line without permission and were fired. Others quit in protest.
The plant manufacturer says he has many Muslim employees, and if they all take off at the same time to pray the line would have to be shut down. He says the only people who were fired were ones who walked off the line without permission and that no one was fired for praying.

In the US, employers must make reasonable accomodation for religious beliefs. That does not mean shutting down production. This is an example of the medieval muslim mind. Most Christians and Jews long ago gave up strict teachings about the sabbath to accomodate modernity. It's time muslims did the same. What do you think?

My parents' family is rich and I'm very well off, my parents tried force me to have a abortion, because they told me it's more shamful to put your child up for adoption, because my child is illegitimate and bring shame and disgrace upon our family.

I kept my child without telling them I'm having it, but do you think it's bad to put the baby up for adoption even when I'm financially well off and have a stable career? Should I just bare the shame to raise my child on my own?

"insurgents" and "freedom fighters" instead of the murdering terrorists that they are? Why do they judge our troops but not the throat cutters?
