wireless internet is there a way to crack the code?

my dad is running the internet and dosent want me to be using all the internet for my computer and xbox 360 how would i go about getting the code

Depends on the type of encryption he is using. If he is using WEP, it can easily be cracked ( I can't tell you how, but there are programs out there to do that). If he is using WPA, then you very likely cannot crack it.

You can have more than one computer connected at same time, maybe your father is not aware of this. Just ask for permission and save having a misunderstanding with your father. He can tell if some one else hacks into and uses his connection by checking time usage etc. It also would be dishonest, and illegal in most cases.
Offer to pay for your own connection, you can get dial up for as little as $9.95 a month.

wpa can be cracked too. but it takes ALOT longer. of course if you are using windows then its gonna suck at it anyway.
get a mac, get the program, learn how to use it, and spend a couple of hours letting it do its work.

Interesting question - if it was not your dad - it would probably get you jail time.

If he did it right, you can't without a supercomputer and a year of CPU time, or stealing it from him.
