Why does being conservative largely mean that global warming is quack science? Why does being liberal mean the environment is the number one political issue? Isn't the environment by it's vey nature apolitical?

I am pursuing a career in law enforcement and am in college. My goal would be to one day be in the FBI or DEA, but I want a job as a police officer first. I know i have to take lie detector test and that worries me. In high school I used to steal (more than 1 or 2 things), smoke pot (more than 1 or 2 times), do criminal damage (more than 1 or 2 times) and drink underage. I stopped the stealing and smoking around 11th grade, but the underage drinking continued until i was 21. I also never had a great work history. I've straightened my life out alot since high school. I have always had good grades, leadship, sports, etc. my whole life, though. I just did some stupid **** on the side for a while. Will these things cost me a job in most police depts and eventually the FBI/DEA, or will they take into consideration that I was young and everybod does stupid **** in high school?

Me and my fiance broke up because he's sooo controling, posessive, and mentally abusive. He's already talked about moving on and finding somone else. I dont want to be in another relationship for awhile although i want somone positive to be around.If you knew half of what went on between us then you would understand why Im done. I know im not ready to move on now but when should I start looking? Im not good at meeting new people and Im sortof shy. I just dont know how to go about the situation. I am a newmom and wonder by how old should we establish the routine wake-up time for the baby? My baby ( 5 weeks old) woke up around 6 or 7 or 8 a.m. Then she went back to sleep again till around 10-11. I mean if I want to change her clothes and sponge bath her to make it a morning ritual, should it be around 8 a.m or 10 a.m.?
By the way, is it necessary to do so (establlishing a routine wake-up time) for 5 weeks old baby? Thanks for all answers.
P.S. I don't mean it has to be exact specific time daily.
