men are normally more afraid of having a baby then the woman is (no offence guys!) your question can be flipped, why should men trust women to take the pill regularly? it is all down to trust at the end of the day it all depends on if you trust the person you are sleeping with? and if you don't why are you sleeping with someone you don't trust in the first place, that would be irresponsible and just asking for trouble. (don't mean that to sound b!tchy so sorry if it did!)

never mind the pill!!! after 2 children...1983 i asked if my wife if she would mind if i took contraceptive precautions(she had been on the pill too long other contraception did not appeal) i decided to ask her for the old visit to the vet....i had the snip...1995..i had it reversed so she could have another baby..then i had the snip again....i do not see why women should always have to take the contraception its not fair on them...its done me no harm..i personally think that MORE MEN SHOULD HAVE IT DONE AFTER raising families..it took less time to do than to make toast and a cuppa of rosie....it has not effected my/our love life..

As much as any guy trusts a girl to take hers regularly :-)

But on the other hand, I think guys may be more prone to be disciplined about it. They don't get gooey over unwanted pregnancies, and would welcome the feeling of sex without responsibility.

But as a woman, I sure wouldn't count on it as my ONLY form of birth control!

I have been married for 38 years, and NO NO NO! Not that I can be pregnant anymore, but all my life I have had to ask my husband if he has taken his 'antibiotics, blood pressure pills, anything prescribed etc etc...men are forgetful.....why should this be any different?

I would trust my husband. We've been married for 17 years and dated for 5 years before that so I know him and I trust him.

I'd use extra protection anyway. As you know, even with women, birth control isn't 100% effective.

No I wouldn't trust him , not because he would be deceitful or mean, just because he's not very good at remembering things, and as it's me and my body who would have to put up with the consequences, I'm happy to take the responsibility!

i would trust the man i am with because i know him that well and can. Never trust someone you are not willing to have a baby with because everything but abstinence fails sometimes.

I'd trust my husband but not some random guy I met in a club if I was still dating.

(But then I wouldn't be sleeping with any old random guy I met in a club as I'm not that kinda girl!!)

xxxx
