What about if another person took steroids to break A-Rod's record... would all of baseball collapse??

first off, I never said A-Rod used steroids. Read the question before answering.

That would be one of the most disastrous things to ever happen in any sport what-so-ever.
I would really be ashamed at baseball or the players if that were to ever happen.

A-Rod doesn't need steroids, at least not right now. Lets just wait and see how his body holds up to time in a few years. As for Bonds, he was definitely not the only player using them, but has become the poster boy for hating them. I don't hate him, I just don't think that all of his hrs are honest. There are other players that have had the ability to break the record without steroids too. I think that Ken Griffey Jr would be up there if he would have remained healthy during his career.

Well I'm sure Yankee fans won't hate him, just like Giants fans don't hate barry, but people who are not fans probably will. I'm a Red Sox fan, but if someone on their team was using steroids, I honestly wouldn't like them anymore. They know better than to use them and they should be responsible for there own actions. If what you say happened, all of baseball would more than likely collapse. It would be a disaster.

Yes. A-Rod is hated almost as much as Bonds is now, even without steroids.

arod has almost 500 homers at the age of 32 he on pace to get between 750-800 by the age of 40 i really doubt that he needs steroids plus hes already hated on as much as bonds for being a scumbag

Personally I think everybody Hates Barry Bonds because HE IS BLACK and about to break that 'good ol' boy's' record. IF A-Rod did it, that non-black would instantly be put on a pedestal. Hell!! He already is!! And he's at least 6 years away from maybe getting close to the record. People, in this question alone, have defended A-Rod and put Bonds down like ain't sh*t. It's only because he's black.
To answer the question, Absolutely NOT. AND if the next person wasn't black, They (the media) would love him too.
