In my freshman year, I met this great guy and he was my first real high school boyfriend I guess you could say. We ended badly because he just up and began another relationship. Five years later, I'm over it and all set and ready to be his friend again. This was all going well until he told me that he loved me and felt that we were destined to be together. He said that he wanted to know the woman that I've become. I have no objections to getting to know him, but I've just began a new relationship with a girl that I truly love. I feel like if I were to get to know him now that he's 'supposedly' grown up, I might fall for him and risk jepordizing my current relationship; but I do want to be his friend again. I'm so lost and confused on how to handle this the right way. Can somebody please help??

I really do not trust mechanics here in Detroit,MI. (past expierence) When has there ever been a oil change with no oil/ $120 full tune up with the same air filter??? Those ar ejust a few problems I have encountered with this scam artist here in Detroit,MI. My question is do I have the right to watch the mechanic work on my vehicle inside the garage area to make sure he is actually changing out the right parts????

Okay I put the tampon in and it looks like it s in correctly. But it hurts really bad like something sharp is pressing there. Did I put it in wrong?? Or does it hurt cause its streching??? Please help! Do I need to try putting in a different one?

Well one of the top tier candidates in the Democratic Party does attend a church that 'claims' to be Christian , yet is biased only for the advancement of black people .

How does that make you feel ? Doesn't that in fact mean that that particular church and it's followers are not Christian at all ?
I'm intentionally not naming the candidate(although many of you know who I'm talkin about) in the hopes that you simply answer the question as it is. . . without bias or defense .

So I've got an hour commute and I have to think about something.

Has anyone else noticed that when either of the parties "claims" an issue, it immediately becomes a pariah to the other?

It's like you can't worry about the environment if you're a conservative Republican. You can't worry about the degradation of the family, high divorce rates, other "moral" issues if you're a liberal Democrat.

I've begun to think this is why nothing ever gets done to "fix" Social Security...neither party wants its opponent in the White House or control of the legislative branch to go down in history for doing so.

Some folks here tend to preach at the Atheist, but once we have planted the seed, should we simply show them the love of Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to water our seed unto salvation?

All people regardless of beliefs should be afforded a certain amount of human dignity and respect, irreguardless of whether or not they believe, or if we disagree with their theology. Do you do that?

Ok i hav a debate in a week about copying music and my side is to debate about how it is not illegal to download music. Ok so they all say that artists are losing money because of downloadable music but if you think about it we buy our music from a music store in a shop..... so then obviously that shop bought those cd's from a wholesaler.... then that wholesaler ordered them directly from the music label company... and duh the wholesaler pays the music company and so on.... so in the end the record label still gets the money from the cd's bought by the wholesaler.... and the music store where we buy it from then only loses money..... so why r they moaning about artists and them losing money???

My ex girlfriend and I stopped dating about 6 months ago, but we continued to talk and be friends. Then, about 3 months ago she started dating this other guy and that's when we stopped talking. She stopped calling me and I stopped calling her.
