It dosn't really matter if we're talking christian or muslim here.
Both, in their fundamentalist state, demonstrate a severe lack of tolerance.
There may be more fear of muslim fundamentalism right now, but that's because there are more areas where they are in control right now than fundamentalist christians.
The fundamentalist christians may have GW in the White House, but I don't believe they've ever controlled congress (thank goodness!!!).
The Taliban's carnage in Afghanistan gave the world a glimpse of how horrific fundamentalism can be , aside from the various terrorist activities, the biggest issue is the lack of tolerance of minorities.
Sharia law is incredibly extreme, but if fundamentalist christians held control, would they gradually slip into the same pattern?
History shows us terrible christian acts like witch burnings and inquisitions. Would they be repeated given the chance?
Would fundamentalist christians more or less tolerant of minorities?
