Don't get me wrong, I love movies like "Casino" & "Scarface." But for some reason i just couldnt get into "The Godfather." I think its because my expectations were set to high (Cause of IMDb rating of 9.1, greatest movie of all time). Or maybe its because the movie was 3 hours long. Or the movie's to old(1972). Or do I have to watch the sequals maybe. I will say this though Marlon Brando definetly deserved his Oscar. I mean the movie was good but is it arguably the best movie of all-time. IDK. Am I the only one who feels like this?

Does anyone have a good batter recipe for deep fried fish?? I had some deep fried fish at someone's house and I asked her how she did her batter....she said she used the batter from better homes and garden, but I can't find the recipe....can anyone help me...the batter kinda reminded me of the batter used for elephant ears....

My mother just got into a bad car wreck-she was hit by a driver who ran a red light. She's having to spend two weeks in the hospital and will have at least 2 months of physical therapy. Her pelvic bone was fractured in many places so there will be a lot of physical therapy. But she will have to spend a couple weeks in a wheel chair and then on to using a cain until she is fully recovered. (other injuries included punctured and collapsed lung and broken collar bone).
How do we calculate the amount to ask for pain and suffering?
Someone said to take the amount of all medical costs and lost wages and times that by 2-and that's what to ask for. I'm not sure how all of it works and when the insurance company gives an amount to settle, how will I know if it is fair or not?

How long dose it take till you feel a try socket? The pain of it? Sorry I am just scared I smoked and drank beer through a straw? Is it like right after you do it will you feel it...I had my tooth pulled july 13 and a abcess drained also...He said wait 48 hours and I waited 72 before I smoked please help me!

I asked this before, but I'd like to get other people's views on it.

My boyfriend is half Taiwanese, half Italian. I'm Irish, so I'm "white." My grandparents are very old fashioned and, though they've never said anything overtly, I can tell that they don't approve of us dating because of our ethnic differences. They comment on how "different" we are and have even made snide remarks about my boyfriend's Taiwanese mother (not while he was there, thankfully). My boyfriend and my grandparents have met, but I'm afraid to bring him to family functions because of what they might say or do. It really hurts me that my grandparents, whom I do love, can be so racist.

I also know that, if we get married (it's looking more and more likely, we've been together almost two years), we won't be having a church wedding because I'm an Agnostic (which my grandparents don't know) and he's an Atheist. My grandparents are very religious and might raise a stink about it or refuse to come.

What should I do?

I am thinking about applying for a job in Northwest houston. The job location is 1960 and 290. How is the traffic over there and is it a nice location to live, any nice apartments, and what is the crime rate? Does it flood a lot, any construction. I have a concern about sex with glasses. I think that it will create a hurdle at intercourse. It will create hurdle when I kiss her cheeks, her breasts and vagina. It will touch her body and will create a problem for me. To avoid such phenomenon I want to use contact lenses but they are potentially harmful because I have googled “contact lenses” and it is said that the most sophisticated lens are not safe and may damage your eyes. I don’t want to use either and want to get maximum not only at kissing her but to stare at her hot buttons without any foreign aid but if I don’t use my glasses at intercourse I wouldn’t be able to see clearly without it because it seems blurry when I don’t use glasses. Is there any such treatment which can recover my distorted eyesight.
Give me guidance.

I have a guy friend, who I met a few years back. We get along pretty well and such. He never seemed like a pervert like some guys I see. However one incident made me question that:

One day he came over, it was just me and him, parents had gone out. We were chilling in my room, listening to music from his Ipod, however the night before I was up VERY late, so I slowly fell asleep.

Before I had fallen asleep, he had left to go talk to someone on his phone. Initially, I was sleeping with my face towards the chair he was sitting in. A little while later I turned my body around, with my back to his chair.

As I was napping, I felt a slight tug on my jeans. Figuring it was the wind or something, I kept napping. Then I felt a snap on my back, as if my underwear just got snapped. Still, nothing I thought.

Then, I could have sworn, I felt something cold, like a finger, go down my underwear and then the top of my underwear was being pulled, exposing my crack.
