I dont remebr what my daughter was doing,either tryign to climb me or fell on me.But her hand fell into my stomach where my little bump is. I have an assistant who started in Feb. of this year. She worked really well up until around June 1, right about the time she had her last review, which was excellent, and receiving a significant raise with bonuses. Since then she has been late, doesn't take initiative, complains about little things, and ahs become critical.
My question is for employers out there, do you see a drop in performance after a good review or a raise? If so, what are steps to take to get your employee back on track.

never read any of the books (well...the 1st one) and i JUST saw the 5th movie yesterday!

I liked it so much that i started reading the 6th book...which made absolutely no sense since i haven't read any of the other books!

I've noticed of late that the ice cream in my freezer is soft, but everything else is frozen. This has happened with the ice cream in different spots in the freezer too.

I put a thermometer in the freezer and checked it a few times - about 19F each time.

When I put the ice cream in the other freezer I have - attached to the fridge - it freezes normally.

Thoughts?

The difference amazes me. Once you cross the state line in Florida there's a difference. I thought it was all the Gulf of Mexico. I would think some of the water mix together and the difference would be gradual.

I have a dog. She is a beagle, and probably at least 9 years old. We rescued her from her former situation. (The guy couldn't take care of her so he was just going to put her down.) We have had her since she was probably 2. She has never come and sit on your lap, she barely even lays on the same couch or chair while I am in it. And whenever I go to pet her on her head, she puts her head down. How can I get her to not be as afraid and get her to know that it is okay to sit with me?

I have an atheist friend who, just this morning, at work, got into a huge row with a girl she works with. This girl found out a while ago my friend was atheist, and had been dropping small insults, here and there, ever since.
My girl friend socked her in the nose today(finally.)
