My intended and I are secular, and our families come from two completely different religious traditions. As such, we plan to have our wedding at a religiously-neutral location, such as one of the many lovely parks or historic homes in our city. What type of person can officiate for us?

Statistically speaking, we're roughly three percent of the entire population . . . how is it that we manage to control everything? And if you believe we control everything - the media, the government, banking, etc., how is the other 97% of the population dumb enough to fall for it? Thank you in advance.

A theory by definition has to do with conjectures, hypotheses and unproven assumptions.

Evolution is not a scientific theory neither is Creation for that matter.

Evolution nor Creation is not testable. (FACT).

Evolution and Creation are equally religious. You will either have faith in one or the other. Neither can be proven.(FACT).

I live in the UK near London but closer to Croydon (if any1 knows where that is). I recently got into this modelling thing and now I want to create some terrain. They say at the shop and the website that you should use foam or high densty polystyrene. If any1 knows where 2 get it pls tell me. And if u don't know pls don't waste ur answer.

I received a parking ticket while I was staying over at my boyfriend's house a few Saturdays ago. The ticket stated that I was being fined for parking overnight (2AM-6AM). I will be meeting the officer who gave me the ticket this Friday to contest the ticket based on the street sign which states that parking is prohibited for more than 4 hours at a time EXCEPT on weekends and holidays. Apparently my boyfriend's village has this weird (to me) law that people who don't live there aren't aware of, namely no overnight parking on the street. (The city I live in has no such rule, I park my car outside of my house all the time.)
How do I properly reason with the officer so he waives the ticket? I don't want to go into a wordy discourse, which I am prone to doing, and don't want to do anything to tick him off. Help?

I have a friend who was my past college teacher and she is about 10 years older than me. I really think she is a good person and I think I can learn things from her in life. We talk alot through email and have become friends. I am taking a class with her hubby next fall to get a chance to get to know him and be friends with both of them.
Since she is pregnant and about to have her baby any day now.. I emailed her and wished her the best in the hospital and told her I would be praying for her and her baby. I have given her a baby gift and all that and we have gone to lunch twice. But I kinda feel like she might forget about me when she has her baby and i dont want that cuz she is a good potential close friend. And i dont mean quit hanging out... i just mean emailing me every so often like usual... but i know i can still contact her through the school when it starts back up. And I have good intentions. Anyway... what do you think?

Why are people whining about Pujols not playing, LaRussa obviously had a reason???

Pujols shouldn't have been there in the first place...they had enough 1st basemen on the National League roster. Eric Byrnes should have been on the team instead.

I get 2 thumbs down for that response huh? Does anybody not agree with me that Derrek Lee and Prince Fielder aren't doing better this season than Albert Pujols? Why have 3 1st basemen? You can't sit here and tell me that Eric Byrnes did not deserve to be on that roster...compare his numbers to Rowand...how about Freddy freakin' Sanchez! How about Pujols? Lets get realistic people...c'mon!

I took my car to a mechanic and he said that he was going to charge $100 to fix the problem.I told him okay and if he finds anything else wrong or needs more parts to call me first,but he didnt he said he had to do extra work on it and he needed extra parts,but he didnt call.He told me when I went up there to pay.Now he is trying to charge me more,what can I do and what do I tell him?

I was looking into becoming an ordained minister online. I looked at two sites ULC.org and Compu-church, are either or both of these legitimite? Also I would not do it for this purpose but I found a website that said ministers get tax breaks and discounts, anyone know what they are talking about? I am getting it in order to perform a ceremony but just curious about the other stuff because I do run a charity organization.

I have a katana with cotton wrapping on the sword handle. Underneath this cotton cloth is ray skin and it is white. The cloth wrapping on the handle is brown and would really like to dye that to navy blue. I wish i could get the cloth off of the handle, but i cant without risking making the cloth wrap loose. can you give me any ideas on how to dye it without having to take the cloth off? thanks.
