My pops replaced an alternator for my Nissan Altima ('2001 GXE) yesterday and forgot to disconnect my battery before starting the procedure. Now the car electronics are dead. The car runs when I turn the ignition and drives alright (though the engine block vibrates alot more than we started. . . probably because the tensioner is not set to the correct length), but the dashboard, horn etc etc do not work. Does this mean that I just need to replace my fuses? Or is there more damage done than before installing the alternator? I am going to go to the parts store later today. Please advise.

We found a real estate agent who charges 5% commission to sell our home (2% for herself, 3% for buyer's agent). Is that a good deal? She really knows the area, especially the townhouse community in which we live, so we figure that it's better to have a real estate agent who knows the market and can get our house sold fast rather than trying to find someone else who charges less commission.

I am curious about this, hell has been thought of as being hot and below ground. What I'm wondering is what society or culture first came up with this and if possible, I'm curious as to why they thought so.

Logically, it makes sense that if you think hell is below ground, it would be hot, if you assume that the core of the earth is a big bunch of molten rock. I'm wondering if the idea that hell was hot and below ground came around before or after it was first theorized that the earth was filled with something hot.

Many myths come around based on things that were actually seen (dragons eating the moon = eclipse, thunder = thor's hammer, etc). So which came first, hell is below us and hot, or the middle of the earth is hot, thus, hell is hot. And which civilization is responsible for that kind of thinking? Thanks!

Okay, so last year my locker was a complete mess and 7no decorations. This year, I want my locker to look amazing, bu the problem is, the lockers are mad small. Each one is about 5 inches wide and 40 inches tall. then on top of the skinny part is a compartment that open up and are square and about 14 inches (both ways). I want to decorate my locker so it is amazing on the inside. We can't do anything on the outside though.

I need ideas for what to put in it to make it look Uh-Mazingg!

why do i not see many American flags anymore. what does it take to wave a flag, is it to hard to wake up, put a flag up before you go to work, come home and take it down. where are all the yellow ribbons, can you not by some riibon and tie it around your tree. is it to much of a hassle to say a quick prayer, or does life revolve around you. did we loose all hope.

Im sick of hearing about how they have the best prices! for one i think there are plenty of businesses that compete with them and two WHO CARES! you might save 5 or 10 cents on tube socks but in the end your letting this corporate behemoth to get away with.
(1) Not paying their employees a liveable wage, Its so bad that many Wal-Mart employees are collecting off of social service programs ..Paid for by taxpayers!
(2) Not giving thier employees a viable health care program, Instead they instruct their emploees how to get Goverment subsidized health care easier..Again paid for by taxpayers.
(3) they encourage companies to relocate (outsource) to other contries when they cannot get goods from the for lower prices, Hey Wal Mart your idea that you can set a price has outsourced hundreds of thousands of jobs ..but they dont care and niether will the public until its sent into a depression and there no longer is a middle class!!!

Thats a hell of a price to pay to save 10 cents on sock
