I have just moved into a new flat and have only been there a few days. It's an upstairs flat and i've discovered a young family living below who like to play music, blast their TV and leave alarm clocks running for 90 mins each morning.

I have signed a 12 month lease and dont like the thought of staying there for the next 12 months. Do i have any legal right to break the contract? Or, is there any kind of cooling off period or 7 days clause or anything similar so i can move out?

Im 24, have acne prone skin and need to find a simple facewash, i like the cloths because they clean off the makeup too..any other suggestions, besides proactive, im using oxy pads right now and they work good for the zits but alittle harsh on my skin.

well...here goes. my ex and i have been apart now for about 2 months. we broke up, but we still went to the prom. i haven't heard from him since up until the other day. the problem isn't that i'm just hearing from him...the problem comes in here. we were supposed to be on a "break", but within 2 days he was already talking to other girls on the phone. i was so upset about this. it took a while for me to get over it, but i eventually moved on with someone new a couple weeks ago. he great. ok...here's the other problem...i still love my ex and he wants to get back together. i love my ex, but i feel a connection with my now. what should i do? should i take a chance and give my ex another try or should i take a chance and move on to the next?

I just bought a 50-pack of CDs from a company for $250. They said they were 'super-cds' and hold 100GB of data each. That seemed cheap because that would give me 5000GB of storage! But, when I burn them, I can only put about 700MB on them. I don't know what brand they are because they are blank and no writing is on them. What am I doing wrong?
