What if I am right and smurfs do exist and all you need is the sweat from 3 of them to turn lead into gold? Why aren't you all out searching desperately for little villages full of mushroom houses? we could all be rich!

Question about Smurfs: Were they mammals?
Evidence in favor: They have one female in a population made up almost entirely of males. That implies a species that lays eggs.
Evidence agains: Papa Smurf has a beard, hence mammals.
I'm torn on this.
