Clinton pardoned like 170 on his last day including Marc Rich, and you know what? It ticked me off!!! ( a lifelong dem). So I give no free ride to ANY president who does so.

There is no hypocrisy in finding it wrong for BOTH parties to do so. It just so happens that Clinton's were 7 years ago or more and Bush's is right now.

Clinton did it, so it must be ok, right? Wrong! 2 wrongs don't make a right, but to answer your question, I don't think the hypocrisy will ever end. There is definitely more of a reaction from this one little pardon than the several pardons of criminals by Clinton, I don't let Clinton off the hook. It's all part of the stupid left vs right political game and it's bad for everyone.

It would be nice if we could just come together as Americans and do what's right for America. Use some common sense. Hold our leaders accountable, all of them.

I see a lot of corrupt pardons then as well from your link. I'm most troubled by pardons where someone tried to defraud the US and Oklahoma government. This should not be a political issue. It's corruption.

For Scooter Libby, he was covering up how a couple was harangued and forced from their jobs for expressing their right to dissent, their right to free speech. I had wondered why more stories were not running against the war when the war began. I was against the war in Iraq, because I didn't see the ties or the need for any other immediate conflict than that in Afghanistan. Same in this case, it's political corruption, but this is not about politics; this is about corruption!

Please aware that presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee was the PardonPreacher in Arkansas as governor. Due to public backlash he didn't pardon Wayne Dumond, a convicted rapist, but arranged a backroom release to Missouri, possibly as a matter of political pique because Clinton refused a pardon. Shortly later he murdered a woman in Missouri and died in prison there.
Furthermore, Huckabee repeatedly failed to notify law officials and victims and their families of the clemencies he granted. Prior notice is required by Arkansas law.
His pardons ranged from rapists and murders to Keith Richards for a reckless driving charge that he pled guilty to, because "Huckabee was deeply concerned that Richards’ feelings about Arkansas were 'marred by a misdemeanor traffic stop.' "
There was no rhyme or reason to his actions.
The power of pardon is misused by governors and Presidents of both parties.

It is not about whatever Clinton did or didn't do. Bush is the one who claims moral high ground, Bush is the one who stated he was going to bring honorability back to the White House, Bush is the one who stated that anyone in his administration caught doing criminal acts would be fired and removed. But it is obvious why Bush did what he did, he had to, he had to protect Cheney, and Rove, and himself. Libby was told to lie, was told to withhold the truth because they all knew if he didn't Rove, Cheney, and Bush would all have been implicated as well. The commuting of the prison sentence was Libby's reward for his deceptions. In everything Bush has attempted he has done nothing but bring disgrace and dishonor to himself, his office, and the American people.

All of those pardons were AFTER PRISON TIME WAS SPENT

NONE of those pardons were regarding people that could have testified against a President and gotten him impeached

speaking of hypocrisy, don't you have a camp to clean out yourselves

prime examples of conservative hypocrites include Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich, Ann Coulter, and "Dr." Laura Schlessinger. Rush Limbaugh has criticized drug addicts countless times, but we now know that he was addicted to Oxycontin and purchased it illegally. Newt Gingrich made a big deal about the head job Bill Clinton got from Monica Lewinsky, yet he dumped his cancer-stricken wife, so he could be with his mistress! Ann Coulter has said that she doesn't believe that women should be allowed to vote, yet she was registered to vote in TWO states! "Dr." Laura wrote a book about the Ten Commandments. If I remember correctly, one of the Commandments says that we should love and honor our parents, yet the good "Doctor" hadn't spoken to her own mother in ages when her mother died.
